Doesn't grip at all! I have wood floors and it completely slides around. Also, read the package. It says it's the perfect fit for "___" sized rug but the actual dimensions are MUCH smaller than the rug you are buying it for. Wish I had read reviews here first about how it leaves a staining pattern on floors too. I'll be returning this.

Doesn’t work. Didn’t stop my rugs from moving around when my pittie does her zoomies around the house or with heavy foot traffic at front door. Tried a different product that has worked perfectly but this just bunched up under the rugs and I was constantly straightening them. Maybe ok for lightly used areas but not for kids or dogs.

I bought 2 of these rug pads for rugs at each of our door entrances. One is a thin rug, one is thicker and these pads do not work for either rug on our hardwood floors at all. They continually make the rugs slip and the pad moves right with them and bunches up underneath.

Let me start off by saying the pad worked as intended, it held my rug in place with no complaints. My problem is that it left a waffle like pattern on my stained concrete floors. There is a sticky residue that no amount of scrubbing has really gotten off. And the little that finally came off has stripped the seal on my floor.
