I bought Sabra Classic Hummus today and it is unpalatable. I expect hummus to be a little bitter from the tahini, but Sabra has a strong and unpleasant bitterness. Also, I didn't check the ingredients before buying it and only discovered afterward that it contains soybean/sunflower oil instead of olive oil. I do not recommend this product and I won't buy it again.

I have been eating this product for years. I started with pesto but then I tried roasted pine nut and added basil pesto. My new favorite is roasted garlic with sun-dried tomato pesto. Never had a bad batch.

I wanted to love this hummus but no. The after taste is bitter/sour? I know what chickpeas taste like. Not in this case. I had some with pita chips. I’m going to finish the container but not purchasing again. I tried.

I just bought this, remembering that I used to enjoy it, but I am pretty disappointed. It has a very bitter/metallic after taste. I've looked on a couple reviews and people suggest adding more tahini or lemon or chickpeas to try to save it, but.. I shouldn't have to buy ingredients to fix it.

My sister in law picked this up from target on her way over. She bought this instead of the Good and Gather brand I love. The flavor was off and almost bitter. I'm guessing it has too much tahini paste. Hard pass.
