Problem with PC board
I was really excited about this product after a series of breakins and thought this is exactly what was needed. Unfortunately, the product stopped chiming after a couple days and the alarm function didn't work properly from the date of purchase (tried to set alarm prior to leaving but was unable to get the alarm to stop sounding). Also, tried to chime, which worked for a few days and then stopped working for unknown reasons.

Easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed something easy and non-techy to install on doors and windows to ensure our 94-year old mother wouldn't wander outside without us knowing. In the past she's opened the sliding back door and walked down the street. She easily gets lost and will get very upset... it's horrible. We have great neighbors who are aware and very helpful but these little door window alarms are fantastic. They were super easy to attach to the sliding door, her bedroom window and our side door! They even came with the batteries and little mounting strips. I recommend you plan where you want to place them cause they stick really well!! I went to move it after a day (since mom kept poking at it) and it was securely mounted on the window. The settings (we use the little bell) are under the little removable plate, so mom wasn't able to turn it off or fiddle with the settings. Definitely great for peace of mind when I am in the other room doing dishes or checking on something in the oven. We don't use the alarm setting but man is it loud. I set it up the first night just to test. My husband practically fell over himself when he opened the sliding door to let the dog out. Really happy with this purchase.

Not so good for high traffic areas
Used it for a door opening , started out great the first two weeks then one day anytime you opened the door it would beep continuously until it met the magnet again instead of the normal one beep .

Do not buy
You have to open the battery pack to remove the plastic strip in order to use these. I have tried eleven different screw drivers and none of them have worked. It even twisted the head on one of the screw drivers. It's insane to sell a product that is unusable because of a little plastic thing protecting the batteries that can not be removed.

we want remotes!
We are in a time where technology is the greatest it’s ever been, & continues to improve. Why are these not remote controlled? We have the technology, they are available, have been. This is a subpar product that desperately needs updated. EXAMPLE - let’s say I put one on my front door to deter theifs while I’m away from home. I live in an apartment complex. I adhere it inside, switch it to alarm mode, & the 125db alarm pierces mine & my neighbors ears until I exit & close the door. When I get back home & open my door, the alarm again pierces mine & my neighbors ears until I enter & shut the door. Why? there is no threat, I’m in my own home 😂

False security

Good but tears up paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sticker for the wall was easy to apply but when I tried to reposition it, it did end up ripping some of the paint off. It's very loud so you will hear it from all parts of the House. Overall it's pretty good for the price.

Pretty good security device
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this security alarm is very easy to install and the sound of it is pretty loud which is great! My only issue is that after a few days the chime doesn’t chime all the way like it did when it was first installed it just sounds like a loud beep now which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of the five, Besides that it’s a good product.

Small but powerful door alarm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and compact window alarm! As a city living 25 year old woman, I know how important home security is for my mental health!! I was excited to receive this product courtesy of influenster and have since installed it on my front door. The packaging was a bit hard to finagle, but once opened the set up was relatively easy, and the sound quality for the alarm appears sufficient. It isn’t the most sensitive alarm on the market which may be important to some customers, so I recommend reading the fine print and reviews prior to purchasing for your own home security needs.

Great for my Garage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sabre Door or Window Alarm. This little device works great for my garage door. Several weeks ago, I caught an individual in my backyard near my garage door, and this campaign came at the perfect time to install for an added sense of security. I have it set to chime with the door opens and I can hear it into my home. I also have a security camera installed now for even more security. This device works great!

Just the right loudness!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this door/window alarm on my window, and it was such an easy installation. All I had to do was put the 4 batteries that it comes with in the back and turn the switch to alarm. (2 settings) Right when I open my door the thing goes off. It's just the right loudness that it would wake me up if I was sleeping.
