Anthony loved to study and teach about Jesus. He was very wise, and people came from all over to hear him preach. Even though he was famous, he stayed humble and kind, always helping those in need.
One of the things St. Anthony is best known for is helping people find lost things. Many believe he prays to God for us when we lose something special. That's why people say, "St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around, something is lost and needs to be found."
St. Anthony also cared deeply for the poor. He often gave away food and comforted those who were sad. He showed everyone how to love like Jesus by sharing and being kind.
St. Anthony died in 1231 at the age of 36, but his life and miracles are remembered even today. His feast day is June 13, and he is called the "Wonder Worker" because of the many miracles that happened through his prayers. He is a shining example of faith and kindness.
