I bought is case back in August of 2022. The kickstand is more robust than the s20 Ultra Case was, but unfortunately the side seams on the rear of the case, where the soft plastic meats the hard semi-transparent plastic, have split. I kind of expect my cases to last more than a year, so this is disappointing.

This case is terrible. It doesn't protect the phone at all, my back glass is cracked and it never came out of the glass. Plus the kick stand doesn't hold the weight of the phone and pops off. The case also didn't hold up and is also already falling apart. The plastic has some kind of coating that began chipping off and the rubber and plastic separated.

I bought this because it looked like an older model that worked well. This one though, the kickstand comes off and it isn't strong enough to hold up the phone vertically. Forget using your s-pen. You can't even slightly put pressure against it. That "flexible" kickstand is a reason to avoid this.

The body is built well but the little stands are a little stronger than paper. You can't stand the phone vertical only horizontal. Flimsy to say the least on the stands.

It's a great phone cover, until it falls apart

i think the headline speaks for itself. i got this cover with the phone on launch day. it was great. i like the looks of it. the kickstand, while kind of flimsy, actually works pretty well. the case is sturdy. but then, not even a year later, i noticed the top seam was separated from the back panel. then a week later the bottom seam was separated from the back panel. then, you guessed it, the left seam was separated from the back panel. that's when i just removed the case and then the 4th seam separated from the back panel and now i'm stuck with a cool plastic piece and a rubber frame, neither of which do too much good to protect the phone.

the kickstand on the back of the case is raised slightly which makes it wobble when laying phone screen face up. the same type case from samsung for the note 20 ultra did not wobble. otherwise a good solid case.

this is my 4th case from samsung, the previous effort of this style, with a kickstand, was sturdier and had a bit more of a grip, holding the phone. in this case the stand is flexible and doesn't keep the phone sturdy on the table. especially the shorter stand. if you apply any pressure, say with a stylus, the phone will collapse.

it wobbles, but that's not the worst part... it peels. the flaked off case pieces scratch the aluminum frame and stick to the cameras, which cause image issues if you forget to check them before you shoot. this is the opposite of a protective case. it actively creates its own hazards and damaging environment. it's not fixable by a replacement, because the replacement will still peel and wobble. it's a design problem. i've had great luck with the protective covers in the past, but this one is just plain bad. it's kept the glass safe, which is the only positive. it's survived drops, keys, pocket flashlights, kicks and all the stuff the previous generation protective covers have done, but for the first time, it's come with side-effects. do it the old way next time, samsung.

the case does seem to protect the s22 ultra, the kickstand though is flimsy and feels rather tacked on. as others have noted, the kickstand protrudes the furthest on the back of the case, so the phone "wobbles" when placed on a flat surface. also i can't use the kick stand to make the phone stand vertically, the kickstand just falls out if i try that. overall, i'm happy it was "free" when purchasing the phone through samsung directly, but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a case.

from the best to the worst. i been a huge fan of samsung's rugged case line, but the s22 ultra model has been nothing but one big disappointment. case became a peace of plastic vs a real heavy duty case. no more silver color, but the most disappointing thing is a layer either of paint or clear coat peeling off the cover. unless samsung does something about it i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. very disappointing!!!

fits perfectly of course, also feels good to hold in the hand, has an interesting effect of making the phone feel lighter, its grippy enough and offers some protection (i've dropped my phone already a couple of times or so without any damage) cons: - looks cheap because of the vomit color (despite being a reasonably sturdy case - it certainly attracts fingerprints but not to an unbearable degree - the kickstand could be more sturdy - the kickstand juts out a bit rather than being flushed with the back of the case despite the shortcomings above its still the best slim case with a kickstand that i've come across. it's very similar in quality to the version for the note 20 ultra. i do not regret getting this case. ps: avoid the white one, it looks much worse in person.

so the kickstand does not hold the phone, the portrait angle is almost flat on the table, before it breaks off. the landscape mode is not much better, but it doesn't break off every time so there one star, the case rocks while flat. im not sure samsung even tried this case before they released it. i'll rip the kickstand off and use it as a regular case for now

lousy, terrible design. 1) the kick stand cannot stand on portrait mode, the stand will dislocate easily. all earlier version can stand at portrait mode. 2) the stand is extruded 0.5mm from the case, making it unstable when use it flat on table. all earlier version is flat can be put steadily on table. this is now shaky and unstable when use. it will turn easily when touched, will drop easily from inclined surface.

i came from a note 20 ultra, and had the rugged case version for that phone. it was awesome, and i hopped this case would be identical. even though this case looks very similar, there is a huge design flaw. the kick stands now protrude from the back of the case so the phone cannot sit flat on a table. the phone wobbles if you try to use it flat on a table. if you want to write notes, this makes no sense. it does still work on my wireless charger, but it's probably not as efficient to charge, as it sits higher and wobbles on there too. really disappointing. i hope i can get a refund.

pros: the sides are grippy and provide decent protection. the smoked blue back looks great. port openings are spacious and the buttons are tactile. cons: the kickstands are raised higher than the ridges so the phone wobbles side to side when placed on a table. while the back looks great, it attracts fingerprints and fine scratches very easily. i was excited for this case, but it's been a major disappointment. i've had similar protective cases for previous models that were great but this one is going to be returned.

it just feels cheap. for a flagship phone case, this could be better. the back plastic is a finger print magnet, and the kickstand tabs feel way too thin compared to samsung's rugged protective case for the note 8. do note that samsung states that this case may affect 5g, so that was another factor in deciding to return this case.

historically the worst case i ever bought i have one for my note20u the kickstands broke off in about a week. the case it self is solid just dont plan on using the kickstands.
