My mom bought this phone in early December as a Christmas present for me, I didn't start using the phone until March of this year and it's absolutely AWEFUL. The screen only works 50% of the time and the only way to get it to start working again is to restart the phone or wait till the battery dies, the screen also crack after it fell 2 feet onto the ground with a screen protector AND a case, the speakers going out, and on top of all that I've barley used the phones for 3 months and the battery's swelling. I've bought Samsung for years and have never had an issue until this phone. Absolutely horrible DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Bought this phone cuz I didn't want to spend a lot on a phone. Well you get what you paid for. This phone sucks! The power button is so close to the volume button that I'm forever hanging up on people trying to turn volume up! Screen is too sensitive. No more Samsung 4 me. Also 2 hard to take group selfie shots. Hard 2 hold phone & reach button to snap picture.

The downside is screen fading and shutting down while the keypad is enabled and waiting for the audio queue from the robot. This timing may be reset by tapping on the screen, but avoid pressing where the buttons are located. Another downside is that the USB C socket is on the bottom so you are not able to be in portrait mode while in a stand. The fix would be to enable portrait mode when the USB C socket is at the top. My BLU 2022 tablet has that feature.

I am impressed by its lasting power even though I definetly work it very hard with the amount of apps I own and tabs I open at one time. The cloud gaming which is very intensive on phones works just fine as well. I would recommend Samsung to people who want a phone that will last a long time and won't suddenly start slowing down and breaking like I've had other electronics do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my A53 to run YouTube all day at work and play call of duty and the battery would last until the next that was awsome and I would usually stream movies after work for hours and it never slowed down and the battery never started dieing faster witch was pretty cool first phone I had that would keep up with all of that also had a really loud speaker great video quality and streaming speed all in all it was a great phone only thing is I dropped it on the ground not really that hard and the screen busted but other than that no complaints great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung A53 5G phone has really impressed me. The phone has a sleek look to begin with and then allows an insane amount of customization. I've been able to adjust different settings to my complete satisfaction without the common occurrence of there being that one feature I wish the phone would have had that I'm usually left with with other phones. The camera is better than I need as an average person and even comes with some cool features too. Now the best part comes with this time period where there's an app for everything because it seemingly has an endless ability to download apps. I have an insane amount of apps on my phone and I have yet to get a message that I'm out of space which has never happened to me with any other phone. In fact I have way more apps than I've ever successfully been able to fit on a phone ever. The integration of it working seamlessly throughout my day with different services is what I've come to expect from a Samsung only better and I am not even one that has utilized it to its potential. Lastly, usually you're lucky to get much in the way of updates with a lot of phone brands and models but that's far from the case with the A53 5G so far. Over all the Samsung A53 5G rates a Buy from me as the extras I've felt and seen in this phone are worth the cost compared to the lower cost series A phones and also run circles around other phone brands I've used in the past plus Samsung's still moving in the right direction.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 is like the midpoint; its a great phone that works well, looks good, and has some good features without having to cost a butt ton of money. I've had my Samsung galaxy A53 for almost a year now and it's been a great phone. I'd repurchase it

I use video calling very often and it produces clear video and good quality sound so long as the service where I am is good. I bounce from social media apps to sending messages and it's very snappy. The Cameras are as good as they look, even while zooming in! The screen is BIG and vivid and it gets very bright! The battery is big and lasts all day.. there's nothing about this phone I don't like! 5/5 Stars!

The biggest issue for me is that it uses the Exynos processors instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon unlike it's predecessor A52 and A52s and no headphone jack. The phone can get warm when watching YouTube videos and tends to have issues with random lag spikes and when using spotify and you try to use the camera it will lag heavily

It's wonderful with music or streaming apps as I get no buffering problems due to its RAM being available and it really is cool you can add more with the feature RAM Plus! My phone never lags and is smooth and responsive whether I'm downloading or even uploading like when I add YouTube videos! It stays nice and cool even at max performance with I say the best battery life on any phone that's in the same spectrum. I ESPECIALLY love the fact that you can download certain apps from the Galaxy Play Store depending on your location mind you... like Good Lock and Good Gaurdians both those apps let you either customize your whole device including settings and UI and other apps part of Good Gaurdians that boost phone speed per app and a memory cleaner app to boot! There's plenty of stuff you can do using those apps I also like how the device can be customized using apps like Substratum or HEX Installer I changed the color of my status bar to red!! All in all it's a well rounded phone that didn't hurt my wallet but still satisfied my need for a higher end performing device for all my needs! PS. The Secure Folder is my security blanket for my Business, Banking, and Crypto Wallet app like Samsung Blockchain Wallet I have ultimate security for all my digital assets as well as private networking with my business stuff!
