Often on a bicycle in the wee hours of the morning, he found an alternate reality of darkness and psychological border crossing. These elements were also found in the broad daylight of the downtown business world and the advertisements that decorate these streets. With an eye from Asia, Yoshi Yubai has captured a part of the underground that most of us may never see. All shot with a 35mm celluloid camera and hand-printed in Japan. Yoshi Yubai's street photography is in the realm of Daido Moriyama: The World through My Eyes (2010 isbn 9788857200613) and the photography of Naito Masatoshi.
