I love the sturdy, stiffness of them and the nice, bold yellow color! They certainly make a statement on your dining room table! They quickly brighten up your table and offer a nice, fun look! Besides using them as regular placemats, I can also use them as centerpieces on dining tables, end tables or coffee tables. Simply place a flower vase, candle decoration or other ornament on it. Being green you can use it for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Christmas as well as everyday use.

My grandkids came over and used them to play house which I loved. I should have gotten a picture of that , next time. I should add they are easy to clean .

They are the perfect size for the plates I have for decorating the table. The material is like straw so if you make sure to not man-handle it so much then they should be good.

They are lightweight placemats you can even line the center table and repurpose as a table runner. I would absolutely recommend them. They can be used all year round.
