Sauder Barrister Lane TV Credenza for TVs up to 80" White Plank: Industrial Style Entertainment Center

I bought this piece to put in the living room as part of my home entertainment center. The shelves are wide and deep enough to hold all my components except for the amplifier that was a bit to deep to fit inside the cabinet so I put that on the top. Putting the cabinet together took some time. The instructions were pretty straight forward and not to difficult to follow.

Bought this stand for 65" TV in front room, very good assembly instructions and nice looking sturdy finished product. Sauder products are far superior to the cheap imported products available on the internet in both quality and ease of assembly.

Like the color and the size.

I am using this piece of furniture as a bookcase. I put it together myself except for the doors where I needed assistance to hold them in place...I wish that the doors would have had a spring type hinge rather than a regular hinge because it would be easier to adjust them...I had to drill additional holes to make the doors fit evenly...this is a nice looking piece of furniture...I got it in clearance but found after I bought it that it was reduced again by 25-30 %...that was my only disappointment.

I'm a bit disappointed in the look & quality of the fully assembled piece. I'll explain briefly, but here's a TLDR: Pros: Easy to assemble, perfect instructions, all parts accounted for & labeled, feels solid. Cons: Looks a little cheap, certain parts don't line up perfectly, doors are horribly uneven almost to the point of rendering the magnet close useless, some holes are just a fraction of an inch off resulting in the whole piece becoming a fraction of an inch off, bottom skirt pieces + one singular plastic leg are likely not strong enough for how heavy this thing is, so I'm afraid to put books in it. Overall, this should've been a beautiful piece that unfortunately fell short of my expectations. The only reason it gets three stars instead of two is the instructions and ease of assembly. I'm not sure it's worth the price, even when on sale because of the end result.

use to mount a TV on top.

The tv stand is very sturdy and beautiful except 2 out of the 4 doors will not take the screws. They strip out while trying to tighten. Im hoping to get 2 replacement doors, if not we will have to take off all 4 doors and go without.

Received the item quickly, love the color and setup. But once I got it set up, the doors are uneven and one side actually hits each other to where you cant close it, the bottom running board was warped so edges dont touch etc. Yes it has a warranty and Sauder resends you pieces for free to try and fix it but for the price honestly its more just a hassle then anything else. Again love it but would not purchase again had I known.

Seems very sturdy. Not too hard to put together. Sadly was missing 4 pre drilled holes that were supposed to attach the latch boards. Overall I'd recommend to anyone who is handy. It does take quite some time to put together.

Love this! Easy assembly. Perfect size for 65-75 inch TV - looks great in our family room (salt oak finish)! Additional purchase of two matching side tables completed the look! Definitely recommend!

It's a beautiful piece once it's all put together but need at least two people to do that. I bought it for my 65 inch Sony tv and it looks beautiful, exactly as the picture. If you make a mistake along the way and you find out at the end, it's going to be a pain to undo. Therefore, make sure you follow all instructions carefully.

Beautiful and sturdy, came nicely packed. I'm in love with this console, people think I paid a LOT of money for it. It's basically the highlight of my living room.

Easy to put together. Looks better than expected.

I bought this credenza to be used as a liquor cabinet. This is my fourth piece of Sauder furniture for my home office. Sauder furniture is very high quality with precision fitted pieces. The instructions are very clear (love the funny quotes every couple of steps). Their customer service is incredible. Had one piece damaged in shipping (wasnt Sauders issue) and less than 24 hours after contacting Sauder the piece was being shipped. Thank you Sauder!!

Good quality considering it is not a solid wood product and it was not represented as a Sauder product on the website where purchased. . It took a bit longer to assemble than was warned about but It is sturdy and looks great. We did have a problem where a few decorative parts on the doors were too short, however, when we contacted the service phone number, they were quick to resolve the issue and sent new parts right away.

We've put together other Sauder pieces but for some reason the directions for this unit were hard to follow and some pieces did not have tags.

Exactly what I was looking for in a media stand and a closed curio display for a coastal home. Affordable and east to put together. Grab a cup of coffee, takes approximately 2. 5 hours to put together for one person. Yes it is faux wood but not easy to tell until you touch it.
