Don't bother for adult use.
The actual clip is so weak and not secured by a latch of any kind it will not even fit my bangs. It was a total waste of money and my time. For a "large barrette" they are awfully small.

Great for thicker hair
I love these clips and wear them daily. I knocked off one star because two of them had the plastic crack within a few weeks. They still function, as it doesn’t affect the metal part of the clip, but I stopped using them. I grabbed a second set because overall I am happy with them, and maybe it was just that batch. I have thick hair and most clips don’t work well for me but these do a great job! I’d recommend them.

These hair clips hold the top part of my hair very well, just not a heavy amount of hair. I would think for thinner hair these clips would work super well and hold a lot of hair! I love the colors and that they can match with anything. They also have a very strong hold, my toddler kept trying to get it out of my hair and she couldn't, which is wonderful.
