A: Hey JoAnn, Great question! We recommend to gently lift the pin from the paper by sliding your fingernail or fingertip under the curved side. Once you have a grip, pull the pin outward and away from the paper. It should slide out easily. It does grip but it pulls the hair. When you remove, it also pulls strands with it. I do have fine hair and this does not stay put and lays funny, not flat. More for decoration or barrette style than an actual bobbi.

The shape adds a nice flair to typical bobby pins, making it both a fun accessory and a functional way to hold hair back/down. They were a bit harder to get in than a normal bobby pin as these didn't open as wide, but they also held their grip VERY well even though my hair is fine. These seem like a great option for all day hold with a little pizazz!
