We can check to make sure we remembered to lock the door after leaving the house and get real time notifications about lock and unlock activity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an old push button coded deadbolt with this wifi smart lock for two reasons: to manage multiple service entries more securely (e.g. cleaners, pest control access) and to be able to know if the door was locked even when away from the house. The deadbolt arrived with helpful video instructions and was easy to set up. It was nice it came with batteries! Since installation, it has been easy to see when people are coming and going from our home. We don't like cameras so this is the best way to know whether service people are present or not, and whether they locked the door when leaving. Once this past week our daughter forgot to lock the door so we have been able to use the remote lock features. It adds peace of mind!

I bought the locks and had a locksmith install them, since that was too big of a project for me to tackle. I am happy with the functionality.

I already had Schlage app for another door so it was simple as pushing rhe button and answering a couple questions. Quick response from app when locking and unlocking. We will see how batteries last with addition of wifi. Hotspot is close so a low power mode should work. Sounds like new locks are insanely priced so happy with this.

We now have the Peace of mind knowing that door is locked because we can check from our phones, we can give friends a unique code, and it locks automatically at night so no accidentally forgetting. Totally worth it, we're going to get locks for the rest of the doors in the house.
