Schlage Encode Aged Bronze Metal Wifi Deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this strictly for the wifi lock/unlock feature (of course, my house only has Schlage locks). My son has a physical handicap that limits his strength in turning a deadbolt knob. This wifi deadbolt does what he cannot and allows him to drive his wheelchair in and out of the house when we are not home and lock/unlock the door. Thanks Schlage for making his life a little easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this locks works it’s absolutely great. I have three of them in different locations. The app is excellent and easy to use. The only issue is I find it doesn’t do well in warm weather near the ocean. I had to replace it 3x at my SC location. So two out of three ain’t bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have over 12 of the Schlage Encode locks on my vacation rentals, as well as my personal residence and could not be more satisfied! First, they are VERY easy to install. They are also very reliable and easy to use. We have a variety of guests and never have issues. Awesome features include: Assigning specific codes to guests with specific times/dates of use, contractor codes, battery life monitoring - easy to change batteries, and you can turn on notifications to see when someone opens and locks the door. It’s great to confirm all locks are locked each evening - from my App! Highly recommended!

The WiFi is solid and I love using its app to check the status of the lock and the times the door was opened. Generating access code is very simple using the app. The installation was also straight forward. Have it for more than 6 months and have no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lock for short term rentals and property management. I love being able to set a personalized code for each rental guest and set the duration that the code will work. When they checkout, the code is automatically deactivated. I can set the code from anywhere on my app and get notified of who has entered, see if it’s locked or unlocked when it’s vacant (sometimes a cleaner or guest who checked out leaves it unlocked and I can lock it remotely). Very user friendly!
