But I have done one before so I knew what to do. It has a section to help conect to your Ring or other approved alarm system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a well machined piece. The tolerances are tight which is a good thing. You may need to trim out the cutouts in your door to make the assembly easy which is what I had to do. My prior install was run of the mill with a lower end unit.

Authentication codes are added from my phone so no need to go through a lengthy process on the lock. Responsiveness of the lock is exceptional with connectivity from anywhere and there are features for automatic delay locking so that there is no worry whether guests have forgotten to lock the door. This has been a 'key' part of my business success!
