Not worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably my least favorite item I have bought from schleich. Not only did the top button work a handful of times and stop but the gems do not fit like shown. We ended up drilling out a section on one gem then gluing them together.

Frustrating to assemble
I love the idea of this but it extremely frustrating to assemble. We finally realized the blue and green crystal are mixed up in the instructions. The rest of the box was difficult to assemble to.

Instructions error
The steps to put the gem together are incorrect. The pieces do fit together, but it won't work in the order the manual states.

Good idea, but doesn’t function well
The battle cave is a cool idea, but in my experience where I’ve assembled 6 battle caves, the pieces do not fit together well and stay assembled. They do not function as intended or hold the crystals at all. They are difficult to manipulate when a child is play with them & quickly became set aside. Very disappointed.

Good cage and crystal, difficult to put together
This is a great set but difficult to put together. My son had to ask me to help him and I had a challenging time myself. The we had to glue the crystal pieces together to they don’t come off.

Button does not open cage
Pretty disappointed with this. The button does not work to open the cage doors, you have to open them manually. Also the instructions were a bit mixed up for putting together the gems.
