It’s a special layer of foam that sits under the shell of your helmet, designed to move in different directions. This extra flexibility means your helmet can redirect force away from your head more effectively. It also means you can put more energy into cycling, and less into worrying. The Sequel ERT also features a micro-adjustable dial retention system that provides a secure, custom fit with just a twist, while the adjustable locking strap dividers let you fine tune the fit. The ABS upper shell combines with lower edge microshell to provide maximum durability. When looking for a bike helmet, I had a few priorities priories mind. First of all was safety, of course, but comfort is almost equally important. And a bonus would be if it looked nice, didn't feel clunky, and had a streamlined look. With safety products, I rely on trusted brand names, so this was one of the top choices early on in my buying process. A few others looked perhaps more comfortable or stylish, but I passed them up for the brand I knew meets standard safety guidelines. This helmet fits snugly and is fully adjustable. I really like that I can change the fit around my head, the depth, and add or take off padding depending on my hair position or the weather. It might not be the "coolest" looking helmet, but I was pleasantly surprised to realize it does look very good when I'm wearing it. I didn't really think it would, but like I said, that was a feature I'd willingly sacrifice. My daughter would prefer specific colors though, so it's awesome that she can also enjoy this product. Plus, stickers easily adhere and can come off fairly easily! ( Tip: if you use a hair dryer on low heat, stickers peel right off). Overall, great product with even more than I bargained for. Would definitely recommend.

Great features like that in the back of the helmet there is an extra adjustment which you turn to make the helmet fit smaller or larger. Also there are thermoformed interior padding wicks away moisture and can be removed and washed. There are 12 air vents provide cooling comfort on hot rides. Perfect for bike, scooter rides. Highly recommended.
My son picked this helmet out! He likes it because it is a ‘blank slate’. He plans on equipping it with stickers from places we have and will, travel to. I like it because its adjustable, durable and covers his head perfectly.
This Schwinn Sequel ERT adult bicycle helmet is really nice. I like that it complies with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). I would not buy a bicycle helmet unless it complies with the CPSC. This regulation protects bicycle riders wearing this helmet from head injuries if they crash or fall, which I do not plan to do but just in case. This helmet has four “layers” to it: the shell, EPS (the hard foam part), ERT and pads. ERT is new to me, which is a special material inserted inside the helmet which can help decrease forces from straight and multi-directional impact. The padding inside the helmet felt really good on my head. I was very comfortable wearing it. I really like that in the back of the helmet there is an extra adjustment which you turn to make the helmet fit smaller or larger. It is really nice that I am able to wear this helmet and my husband was also able to wear this same helmet because we used this extra adjustment in the back of the helmet. That is a really nice feature because I do not have to buy a small helmet for me and a large helmet for my husband. My husband and I really like the navy-blue color with a mint green strip around the bottom of the whole helmet. I definitely recommend this bicycle helmet for anyone looking for one.
