Q: What type of battery does the light use?

A: The "light" on the rear of the helmet uses the ubiquitous (common) "Coin" cr2032 battery. it is NOT rechargealbe. Personally I would not depend on it exept in a emergency. I use a 3rd party light.

This helmet was very true to size and also very comfortable even after wearing it for a couple of hours. It was not really hot like a lot of helmets as it had a good airflow. Aerodynamic and very easy to wear.

The bike light fell off and fell apart as soon as you cut the zip tie. Exchanged 3 times with same results. Very disappointed in such a quality name brand. Ended up with a plain helmet instead.

Target deciding that gray and white are specifically feminine is weird. I wanted to buy this for my husband but, especially with his large head, was worried that the sizing would be off or there was some other "lady" feature that wasn't mentioned. (Like the back the the Hemet being designed for a high ponytail to get through.) I went to the store and Schwinn only says it is adult sized and makes no statement on gender. Hey, Target!! What's up with that?!
