Q: how do I use this in my car for my laptop use
A: The Scosche power inverter gets connected to your vehicle's 12V auxiliary power outlet. Q: Can I charge this device & take outside to a remote location such park or beach and if so how long does it stay charged or does it have to be connected to a device (laptop, etc) in order to work?

Q: If I don't plug it into my car, and I plug something into the USB that is a power source, can I charge something by plugging it into the 120-looking outlet? USB is input of power "120" is receiving power
A: Hello Nikki. The USB port on the Scosche power inverter only works as an output. The power inverter needs to be connected to the vehicle's 12 Volt power outlet in order to properly function. Q: My box keeps going red what does that mean I tried to unplug it then plug it back up but it keeps going red

Q: Can I plug my 9v breast pump into this
A: The Scosche PI150M power inverter is rated at 150W. As long as as breast pump you are wanting to use is not rated higher than 150W you should be able to use it with the Scosche power inverter.
