Q: Are these the same as "Scotch Brite Dobie - Original", just in different colors? Is there any other difference(s) to just the Original's higher cost?

These Dobie scrub pads are affordable, do not scratch my cooking ware and lasts a long time with a few easy steps to keep them sanitary. I eventually launder them and then use them for other cleaning functions!

Really simple product that we have been using for ages, love it. Scrubs dishes, pots, pans, and glasses effectively without scratching them. Although they don’t last forever and if you scrub knifes or forks too hard they may tear easily which I think they used to be more durable years ago, not too sure. I also buy these because they are a neutral color and not colorful which I like the neutral color better

Before there was Scrub Daddy, there was Dobie, not as cute but more economical. This is great for dishes and counters. It won't scratch either. I wish it did a little better with stuck on food, but I guess that's the price you pay for the non-scratch benefit. The different colors allow me to distinguish between pads used for different functions. I love it!

I have never had a sponge start falling apart as quickly as these. After 5 days we have massive holes in the sponge.
