[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though I have followed instructions closely, once fed through, the lamination does noteasily feed out of the front of the machine, which leads to jams and a ruination of the paper being laminated. I have tried calling but without a reciept, there is nothing that will be done for me. As a teacher, I cannot afford to replace this. STAY CLEAR OF THESE MACHINES...junk!

My Scotch Laminator caught on fire I had just plugged it in and it immediately began making spark sounds, then smoke started to come out. When I looked at it I could see fire inside the laminator and immediately turned it off. Before this my laminator was not passing the sheets to be lamintated and I had to give it a few attempts before it feed through the laminator.

Couldn't even use it once. Followed the directions exactly as stated and my first page through got so jammed I couldn't get it out and ruined the machine. Waste of money.

Truly dislike this laminator. The back flap that feeds the laminating sheets through is broken and doesn’t stay up. When I looked, a little plastic piece that keeps the flap up broke. Very poor quality. Sheets also start to turn sideways during the feed and ruins the paper I’m laminating. Threw this in the garbage since the return window is closed and purchased an A3 laminator, which is what I should’ve done to begin with. Spend the money and buy something better than this model.

I have had the laminator for about 2 years and only use it at the end of the school year for a couple things. I used it yesterday for about 10 sheets. Today it simply will not turn on. I have seen this in several other reviews too! Did anyone find a solution?

I purchased this product last year and have only used it 3 times for light jobs. Today red lights are on and it will not heat up It don't make sense for it to already be broken. Very disappointing for what I paid for this product.

The small pin that hold the paper feed broke on the first use. The laminator works great, but without a properly functioning feeder tray, I have to be careful or I get crooked or wrinkled laminated work. I have wasted time and money trying to make this work properly. Not worth it.

Overall, the product is great. I had used the 2 pouches that came with the machine. All that said, it wasn't clear what size the pouches were; either 3 mm or 5 mm (it was 3 mm). I just assumed it was 3 mm because when I turned on the laminator, the default setting was 3 mm. The lamination went smoothly, and there were no problems whatsoever.

I do not recommend this laminator. Buy a different scotch product. The tray for inserting the laminating sheet is a poor design and the small pegs to hold open the try broke on the second time using. I was able to use it twice before it became unusable.

I was soooo excited to get this laminator for Christmas! It had a super weird smell when I turned it on that I thought would go away, but it never did. It made my entire house smell so much I wouldn't even use it when my kids were home. And then about 2 months ago it just stopped working. It doesn't turn on at all, and when I reached out for help I was told to be sure it was plugged in. I just wanted something for simple projects. What a bummer.
