Actually Wall Safe
This is a top ten household product for me. It’s ACTUALLY WALL SAFE. I love using it to display my kids’ art on my walls. Love for decorating. I use this tape constantly. Did I mention it’s actually wall safe??? Skip the scotch double-sided wall squares. Screw the gorilla wall putty. Both will damage your walls and the poster/paper you’re hanging up. Scotch Post-It Tape is the bees knees. I almost never write reviews. This might be my first review ever on Target. But this product needs to be known and loved by everyone.

Does NOT Stick to Textured Walls...
I bought this to "pin" up some posters in my kids' bedrooms. We have orange peel textured walls, and this tape is barely hanging on. I have to go in to each room daily to put pressure on each piece of tape. Not ideal. Maybe you'd have better luck with smoother walls or a different style texture. Two stars because my daughter used this tape on accident to put together an art project, and it stuck well. Just not why I bought it.

Yay to no damage!
I needed tape for my son’s birthday decor but was worried about it messing up our paint (even painters tape can mess up paint). So glad I came across this. I do wish that it was just a tad bit stickier since I had balloons falling down throughout the day and was a bit annoying having to restick with new tape again each time but overall it did the trick. Used it on our ceiling and walls, with no damage!

Recently bought this tape after doing a google search for removable tape to hang decorations for a birthday party. So impressed of how well the wall safe tape was able to hold up a birthday banner, balloons and decor on different types of surfaces in my home. Painted walls, painted trim and painted ceilings. The tape was able to hold a banner from the corner of the room ( taped to a wall ) and across the room to be taped up onto the ceiling with no problem of holding the weight of the decorations. The tape held up outside as well. I taped a banner onto a painted porch post and it held up, even with the breeze outside. And when removed, the tape didn’t not take any of the wall paint off. Also, the product didn’t tear the paper decorations when I tried to remove it. 100% yes, I would definitely be using the product again for holiday and party decorations !!!

It's not a Great tape. It doesn't take paint down but it also doesn't keep whatever you trying to tape on the wall, to remain on the way.

THIS IS TERRIBLE. i put tape on the middle and two corners to hang up my photo cards, and they all became loose within a day. im very disappointed, mainly bc any tape i’d use on my wall would risk peeling off paint on the wall.

Doesn't stick to textured wall!
Ugh! This tape does not do what I thought it would. It might be gentle on walls, but this doesn't matter so much for me because what I am hanging up isn't really sticking. The tape is barely clinging to the wall and surely, it's a matter of time before these papers fall down. I am hanging pieces of regular printer paper on my painted textured wall in a bedroom in my home for reference. I should have purchased masking tape instead.

I used this to hang light weight party decorations such as streamers, tassels, and letters. I used it indoors at an air b n b rental and there was absolutely zero damage on any surfaces. The decorations stayed up for 72 hours in a beach house. Great product would recommend for similar purposes. :) oh and nobody could see the tape at all.. it’s hard to detect. And there was plenty of tape left on the roll still. One roll of tape was more than enough.
