I used this tape to hang a paper gingerbread man on my dinning room ceiling when I was 4 years old. I am now 18 and we have never had to redo the tape. This tape has lasted 14 years with no signs of failing anytime soon.

Does NOT Stick to Textured Walls...
I bought this to "pin" up some posters in my kids' bedrooms. We have orange peel textured walls, and this tape is barely hanging on. I have to go in to each room daily to put pressure on each piece of tape. Not ideal. Maybe you'd have better luck with smoother walls or a different style texture. Two stars because my daughter used this tape on accident to put together an art project, and it stuck well. Just not why I bought it.

Yay to no damage!
I needed tape for my son’s birthday decor but was worried about it messing up our paint (even painters tape can mess up paint). So glad I came across this. I do wish that it was just a tad bit stickier since I had balloons falling down throughout the day and was a bit annoying having to restick with new tape again each time but overall it did the trick. Used it on our ceiling and walls, with no damage!

Alternative use: Protect trackpad mouse controller
First: While it uses Post-It technology, it is not safe for removable taping on some papers. Its adhesive is stronger than sticky-note adhesive. I have abrasive skin on my fingers due to my work, and tend to abrade the coating of trackpad type mouse surfaces, making them stop working. I put this tape over the trackpad, and it protects the surface without interfering with mouse control. It does not leave a residue behind when removed, which is very nice.

This stuff is great! I was tired of my daughter (4) using blue painters tape to hang up her artwork or 'signs' and this stuff is great! We have textured walls and it holds and doesn't remove the paint. Will definitely purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With back to school happening, the kids needed to bring disinfecting wipes for the classroom. I need to find a way to keep the lids sealed without spilling the liquid inside or drying the wipes. I remembered that I had received samples of clear tape from Scotch. I just need something that would hold, but wouldn't need a lot of force to open when the wipes were needed. I could only find this tape when I needed it, so I used and I am glad I had this handy.

It did stick and it didn't damage the paint on the wall but I wish I could see a little more adhesive strength. It may be the way I'm using it but I have to loop it on all 4 corners and use a good amount to keep it on the wall.

Wall of kids art work

It also holds the art work on the walls without it falling off. Now I don’t have to worry about the paint coming off my walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tape to hold light items to walls. Definitely didn’t damage the paint on my wall or closet doors after I removed the tape. I think because the tape is thicker than regular tape, I had problems cutting it easily using the built in cutter. I used scissors instead.

It was easy to dispense and it was strong enough to hang a booklet on the wall for when my grandchildren visited. when I needed to remove it, thetape didn't damage the paint on the wall or the paper booklet that was hung. Really a great item for when you need to show off that most important artwork!
