Sensational First Meal from Scott and Jon's!
I just discovered the Scott and Jon brand today and tried the Cajun Style Shrimp Alfredo Bowl...it was fantastic! The flavor was top notch! Living a few miles from the shrimping communities of coastal Alabama, I can attest to the freshness of the shrimp in this meal! Waayyy too salty!
It's VERY spicy, which I don't mind but, it will probably be too much for anyone not accustomed to eating really spicy food. However, the reason my family agreed we won't buy it again is because it's a salt bomb. And, indeed, upon just now reading the nutrition label I see it has over a THIRD of your daily sodium allowance. That's just way too much for a small 9 ounce bowl of food. And it's entirely unnecessary anyway since there's plenty of cajun spice to provide flavor.
