Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Bermudagrass is drought-tolerant to stand up to scorching heat with root-building nutrition for a stronger lawn. The combination seed, fertilizer, and soil improver can be used for growing a new lawn or overseeding an existing lawn in 3 steps: 1) prep the area 2) apply the seed, and 3) rake the seed into the soil. For best results, plant seed in the late spring or early summer when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 65°F and 80°F, or air temperatures between 70°F and 90°F. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height. Scotts goes to great lengths to bring you the freshest seed available, incorporating everything from the packaging design to the product formula and the seed itself, so you can grow your own thick, beautiful lawn. For best results, always use fresh product. After opening, plant within the season.
