The sE Electronics Voodoo VR1 is a state-of-the-art passive ribbon microphone that captures acoustic instruments and guitar cabs with exceptional detailed, open and natural sound. The VR1’s innovative mechanical design ensures an extended frequency response that brings out the bite and edge of guitar cabs or cymbals, while eliminating muddy highs.For optimal performance, the VR1 features a traditional figure-8 polar pattern, 20Hz–18kHz frequency range and passive electronics. The handcrafted and hand-tuned ribbon element is made by technicians with decades of experience to bring pristine sound quality in an affordable and unique looking microphone. This microphone also provides isolation from mechanical vibration and allows for flexible mic placement with the built-in custom shockmount. To complete this professional package for musicians and engineers, a wooden case, stand clip, thread adapter and shockmount are included.
