Life went on, and the story was forgotten-until fifty years later, when I found it tucked away in my mother's bookcase while sorting through her belongings after her passing.

Discovering it again was like unearthing a time capsule of my childhood, a snapshot of imagination and innocence. Encouraged by my husband, Michael, I decided to share it with the world.
