The NineBot S2 is perfect for our use. We use 2 earlier models here on the ranch and just bought 2 more for grandsons to use at college. Parking is a pain and these solve that problem. QUESTION: How and what type of lock do you recommend on campus with a bike rack? Can a U lock go through the frame anywhere on the S2?

Im 65 teaching an old dog new tricks,seen a you tube video where they use these in lawn care. I told my young 40 year old son he and I run our own companies, he got it and loved it for using the segway for string trimming and blowing off property. So after a few weeks of thinking because I'm old and tried his. very easy to use, took some practice off road around houses un eaven walks. it has literally saved hours in my week along with less fatigue especially when hot. got almost 200 miles so far and has been awesome great product.

I did D2D and the ninebot made everything way easier. Super smooth ride, lasts FOREVER. I did 9 hour days on this thing and it would last 2 days on a single charge. Super fun to ride especially with the Bluetooth speaker and lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is terrible for bumpy conditions. The slow down feature nearly kills me every time. It decides I am going too fast (often when I'm going very slow) and pulls back against me. Why can't it just slow down? Why does it need to tilt back? It isn't safer for it to tilt back it just creates a lack of control and throws you off it. Often going over bumps (which is sketchy on its own) it will jolt enough to make it think I am going too fast. When it decides you are going to fast it doesnt just make you slow down either, it literally requires you to go to almost a complete stop before it stops pulling backward, it is so annoying. Going downhill also seems to make it think I am going faster than I actually am, I've had it stop over and over again when I was going less than 5 mph (I was literally going slower than the people walking next to me). If you fall off, say goodbye. This thing just keeps going completely on its own. When it rides well it is really satisfying. The range is good. It is really easy to control around other people.

BUT… I really was disappointed to find out that despite advertising the go kart kit, there is no actual go kart kit available. That was one of the reasons I bought this… maybe take that part off of your advertising campaign?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try to half price competitor with a hover board and it was cheap, and flimsy, and I ended up returning it. Then I discovered Segway and this is leaps and bounds better than any other knock off at a very favorable price point. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I’m glad I decided to go with Segway rather than an off brand. Segway makes quality products and you will know the difference and it’s well worth the extra money.

The Segway Ninebot S2 is my Back to the Future HoverBoard. The S2 is absolutely fantastic, but as soon as Segway releases LOOMO 2, I am upgrading immediately. I want LOOMO 2 following me when I'm doing my daily run. So, Segway, make it happen soon. I'm waiting for LOOMO 2.
