Selkirk Sport Halo Control Max Pickleball Paddle - Pink

High quality paddle, but unfortunately not the right fit for my game. Selkirk always top notch!

I love this paddle!! I've been playing since January 2020 and have played with a lot of paddles. Takes some time to fine "the one". Comes in a variety of bright colors.

The SLK HALO Control-Max has Already Exceeded my hopes and expectations!!! As a five decade tennis player, I naturally like to drive the pickleball from the backcourt, and this paddle 'drives well'. Yet, I'm finding with the finer aspects of the game, (spin, direction, dinks, and lobs) is where this paddle is already giving me touch and feel, and Most importantly, the consistency and accuracy which IMHO, is the pickleball formula for success 👍

It just felt like magic. No. Seriously. It feels sturdy and stronger and yet light. It made my game better by giving me more control. Amazing paddle.

Fantastic paddle! I normally play with the Amped Pro Air invikta and this is a great paddle if you want more control. It doesn’t generate as much power which I like. If you have a background in other racquet sports this is a great control paddle. It is not a power paddle FYI!

I’ve play at a 4.5 level. This is a really good control paddle, will good pop. Soft touch, and responsive touch. I feel directly we’re the ball is going and I don’t have surprise miss hits.

I tested so many paddles, and Selkirk was so patient with me. I kept going back to the Halo and have no regrets. It's very easy to maneuver from back hand to forehand and has great control.

I love my new paddle! I got the one with a longer handle which is great for my 2 - handed backhand. And very important…. It’s so pretty!!!

I thought this paddle felt okay and I really didn't like the grip. It is weirdly shaped like an oval instead of the standard hexagon or octagon. You also don't get that much power with this paddle, but the control is great. You can easily place the ball where you want it, and I think dinking is easy with it as well. I don't think my drives had that much juice to them and it was a lot harder to pass other players. Overall, I would recommend this paddle to anyone who is starting out and likes to control the ball without worry of hitting it too hard.

My old paddle got mushy. This one definitely improved my control and that’s what I was hoping for.

I was looking to upgrade to raw carbon paddle, but not at price I was seeing for some of these paddles. Our local Selkirk Ambassador let me use SLK HALO paddle and the touch and feel of the paddle won me over. When I heard the price I was sold. Very happy with my new paddle.

control seems to be not as good as older model of halo control max. needs quite some effort to generate more power also

I have much better control over spin, as well as the extra inch in width helps quite a bit with more precision hits. The energy absorbing material makes it much effective for targeted defensive play. I’m using a grip wrap and I’m quite happy with it but my co-player has smaller hands and the extra layer makes it difficult for her, meanwhile the handle gets dirty quite fast. Time will tell about durability and performance stability but for now I’m quite happy. Time will also tell if my overall game quality has improved or not, it’s too early to tell. And this is a universal issue with writing feed back since the suppliers want an answer as soon as the product is delivered!

Perfect weight and handle grip for me. Control is definitely better!

For the price this is an excellent paddle. Nice sweet spot and good control, but a little disappointed with the spin properties.

Loving it! Definitely a learning curve from my previous paddle.
