A: Yes, the SLTLW300 does need to remain plugged in to operate, as it doesn’t have an internal battery. Keeping it connected ensures all features work properly, including the heating and vibration functions.

Popped the scented disc in within seconds, dropped the blanket inside, selected 30 minutes and the heat covered the entire blanket evenly! No water was needed at all!

It heats up two towels and you can also throw in blankets during the winter to be extra cozy. It heats up pretty quickly - in 15 mins, but if you want towels to be really hot and evenly heated, you should leave them in for longer. This item is also really well made, and the wood accents look really elegant. The scent diffusion is a nice plus, but even if you just use it as a towel warmer, I think it’s a worthwhile purchase to feel extra luxurious!
