Shaker Cottage Storage Bench - Alaterre Furniture

I was doing fine with assembly until the doors. The pin was very hard to screw in and kept falling out. When I finally got to the point for the pin didn't fit. I made some adjustments to the hole, not perfect but the doors are usable.

This is nice looking but it came damaged. Have to return

I got 2 of them and they fit perfectly under my kitchen windows. They are much sturdier than I anticipated and look great. The packaging was well done and they were easy to put together.

This bench is very well made and it was very easy to put it together. I'm impressed by the quality and appearance. I bought the white color and it coordiabtes perfectly with my other white furniture in the room. They only downside is that the doors on the front are crooked! And it is not because I put it together incorrectly. There is no way to adjust it because the holes are pre-drilled. It's annoying to look at this beautiful piece and see very clearly how flawed it is right away. I won't return it because I've already spent the time to put together. But I'm going to find a way to fix their mistake.

I got this in store as an online return discounted. I don't think it was worth the original asking price. It is definitely not a flawless piece. The black does appear more flat so it does clash with my other black furniture. It's cute but I wouldn't use it as an actual bench to sit on.

Pretty entry way bench but it did stink when it came out of the box. The smell went away after a few days.

Chest is smaller than I thought and there is a divider in the storage area which makes storage minimal. I had wanted to place it at the foot of my king size bed, using it to store extra sheet sets and blankets, however it doesn't accommodate this and the color is more of an off black, which clashes against my jet black foot board. This doesn't not fit my needs however it may fit others which is why I gave it 3 stars

This is exactly what I was looking for! Installation was a breeze, the product was great quality, and the price was very affordable! Exactly the piece I was looking for my old closet turned "nook!"

Initially, I was extremely impressed when this arrived. The materials were VERY solid and sturdy. Much more so than I would've expected for the price. When we tried to put it together, there was one hole that was off, which caused the whole piece to be off and a little crooked. Not anything that would probably be noticeable to somebody else, but made putting it together a little more difficult. If it was a main focal piece or if I had spent more money on it, I probably would have returned it, but it works perfectly for its intended purpose. It will be used in my child's playhouse for books/toys/etc. Had it not been for that minor flow, I would have easily given this 5 stars (and it probably could have just been drilled out and fixed, but I didn't want to bother). Overall, good product for the price.
