Q: Is the "W" dimension a typo? I can't imagine that it is really only 14". Could it be actually 41"?

A: In the seat dimensions below, they list it as "18H x 44W x 14D". I'm assuming it's either a typo or those are the shipping dimensions.

You can't go wrong purchasing this bench. This is the 3rd one I have bought. It is Very well made. Solid wood, and really strong. No worries about it collapsing. They are offering and beautiful new color; walnut. Much nicer than the orange shade from before. I ordered this one for displaying my plants, but may use it as a coffee table. Get it you won't be sorry.

Sturdy bench with simple, clean lines
I needed a stand for a 20 gallon long aquarium (footprint 30" x 12.5"). Aquariums are heavy, so it needed to be able to support about 250 lbs. This bench is perfect. My elderly mom can sit in her chair and the fish tank is at a perfect height for her to enjoy watching them without it obstructing her view out the window. The bench is very stable. Finish is nice. Assemly was easy, requiring only 2 bolts with washers and lock nuts for each leg. The bolts screw into metal sleeves on the frame. Attractive Shaker style with straight, clean lines. I looked everywhere for a sturdy, low-cost aquarium stand. This is perfect.

Easy to assemble
I like the overall look of the bench. It was easy to put together and not over-packaged, so it was easy to unpack. I just wanted to use it as a bench to set things on. Somehow the top got a deep scratch right away, so that is disappointing.

This bench is nice quality HOWEVER the color is way off from what's pictured. If you're expecting a deep brown color, look elsewhere. This is more of a bright orange cherry stain. I was shocked how different it was from what's pictured. I returned it.
