Q: I have had this vacuum for a few months & it will not suction properly anymore… will at times spit back out what it just vacuumed. Has anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions? I have cleaned out the filter, etc.
A: The flexible hose that enables the vac head to move up and down is probably the source of a clog. Remove the vac head from the stick handle and use one of those white plastic barbed drain cleaner things to gently remove the wad of whatever. Do yourself a favor and perform this task over a towel or trash bag. You can also remove the plate covering the brush head to really see what you’re doing.
submitted byVicki - 3 months agoA: I’m only on my third use and it will not suck up anything. I can’t figure out why, but I’m ready to return it. I cleaned the pet hair from the roller brush. The first use it worked great, I emptied the canister and as soon as they put it back together, it’s working less and less. Help! Lol.
submitted byGail - 4 months agoA: I have had several of these vacuums still do but the hair clogs them up quick! I use a wood skewer to pull the hair out from behind the roller brushes - it's a drag but when it's not clogged up it works great!
submitted byDebbie1265 - 8 months agoA: Make sure brush, hose, all filters are clean... might be tome to replace filter especially if you been vacuuming lot of dirt/ dust...

Q: Do you have to hold the button the whole time your vacuuming?
A: Basically yes. There's a button to turn it on, but it's about as powerful as sucking up dirt with a drinking straw, so you have to hold the button for "extra power" down the whole time.
submitted byLilikit89 - 4 years agoA: I don't always use the "extra power" and it seems to suck things up just fine. We live on a farm with lots of dirt. It's honestly not too bad.
submitted byDH - 3 years agoA: I don't ever use the button and it sucks up all of our Husky dog's hair just fine!
submitted byDallasFan04 - 2 years agoA: You must use your left thumb pressed firmly on the button for 60 seconds without lifting your pressured thumb. After that you must plug it in once , turn it off and the use right pointer finger to turn on the light feature only. If you need to vacuum I suggest buying a Dyson spend 5 times as much as use that
submitted bySally Mae Boliinger - 5 months agoA: NO. You only need to use a button continuously if you choose the extra boost power function. Otherwise, there’s a regular on/off button. I love this vacuum! It’s been excellent.

Q: am i able to pick up food? my kids make a lot of mess while eating and i was wondering if this is okay to pick up with food mess?
A: Yes! This vacuum picks up everything. I have little ones; that’s why I bought it years ago. When there are tougher messes (like rice is tricky), I use it as a handheld and it sucks everything right up!
submitted byMadison - 1 month agoA: Yes, you can pick up food residues. However, it is not recommended to pick up wet food or liquids as it can cause a damage on the unit.

Q: Our brush has stopped rotating. The rest of the vacuum is working just fine, but the brush spins for a second and then stops (like what happens when it gets stuck) and won't restart. What do I do?
A: Remove all the hair n dirt on brush... and that it's not sticky... check make sure there isn't something stuck that's keeping it from working properly... the brush on this one doesn't come out sadly...
