This is the 3rd time I have bought this lamp. It is not grandkid friendly. Make sure you use something to hold it in place because it shatters when it falls. Also, the 3 way bulb has not worked on any of them. It instantly burns out the lowest setting and there is no difference on the medium and high setting. The look of the lamp itself is perfect which is why I have purchased 3 times.
