At first impression, it seems hard to comprehend. But after a few glances of checking for time, it quickly became intuitive. Initially, I couldn’t help but question why something like this couldn’t simply display the time in digits. But then, I quickly realized that it would take away from the witty design. I love that the look of this word clock fits seamlessly into any decor. It has a futuristic appeal and creates a fun vibe for any space. Also, I appreciate that it can be plugged in for power, but will take batteries for backup. Overall, a very easy setup. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed visually by this product, it’s super sleek and clean looking. It adds a modern touch to my home. It does a great job at telling time and I like that the light can be dimmed depending on the time of day. I also love that I can either mount it on the wall or stand it up. My only complaint with this product is that it uses a USB cable to power it with a battery back-up. I would never plug this in near a USB outlet so I am very limited where I can put it.

I wish the quality was as good as the clock esthetics but it’s still a good idea for an ideal gift especially for Men because I always have a hard time finding the perfect gift for the men in my life. I would purchase this in the future!

Just keep in mind that it is not a precise timekeeper because it only updates the time in 5-minute increments (on the hour, five past, ten past, and so on). The illuminated words are bright and easy to read, and the brightness is adjustable. I just wish it offered more customization options or at least a simple button to turn off the display at night, because the light can be a bit too strong when I am trying to sleep.

The time only shows in 5 minute increments such as 10 till 5 or 5 minutes after 10, etc. you won’t get the exact time because of how it’s set up but nonetheless it is a unique clock. It took me a minute to figure out how to set it but once I did it made sense and was easy to do. You can adjust the brightness of the time as well and you can either put batteries in it or plug it in with a USB port. I think this would make a great gift for anyone because it is unique. I currently have mine displayed on my computer desk.
