Sharper Image RC Giant Crusher 4x4

I bought two of these and neither one will stay connected to the remote. Will run for maybe 5 min and then just randomly stop, absolute waste of $200.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave this to my 7 year old for Christmas and he was obsessed!! This thing is HUGE, a lot bigger than I anticipated when I ordered it. Out of the 8 gifts he got, this was his favorite. He couldn’t wait to open it. When he got to try it out, he played with it nonstop, until it died. It’s so sturdy and really built to last. He played with it outside and in out basement, and had fun in both places. It’s so fast!

This RC 4x4 is going to be perfect to take the park and into the forest when we go on walks! I’ve had RC cars from Sharper Image before and know they are quality, durable toys, and I know my kiddo will be STOKED about this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rc monster truck is awesome!!!! It is huge!! It goes surprisingly fast and up and over bumps with no problems! It takes about 2 hours for it to fully charge and does last for about 15-20 minutes in use. I highly recommend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy. Cow. You have NO idea how MASSIVE this thing is until you get it. It’s literally bigger than my 2.5-year-olds! I mean, it’s HUGE! I was worried when we ordered it that it would be kind of a dud being that it doesn’t really have any “special features”, and we’ve had lots of RC cars that were just crummy products. But THIS?! Oh my gosh, it goes fast, is easy to steer and use in general, and it can get over just about anything! My son LOVES driving this all over the neighborhood, and all his friends and siblings are always begging for a turn. So far, it has taken every curb so easily, it’s super powerful, and my kids (and husband) love it! I do have ONE complaint though.. it takes a while to charge for only 10-15min. of run time. And I get it- it requires a lot of battery to make this monstrous thing work and work well, but we just wish it lasted longer or charged faster! But even still, it gets 5 stars from us!

Even my son is only 15-month, he enjoys playing this car with his dad. I cannot wait to see them spending time together since my husband is pretty busy, so having quality time all together is priority on our family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all the years of having my boys, this was the coolest surprise for the oldest 2! Their jaw dropped (honestly, mine did too when I opened the box!! hah). Sharper Image yet again managed to impress me with this incredible giant crusher remote control 4WD truck! It comes with a remote (you do need batteries, to be exact 3AAA batteries), and the car changes via USB cable included. It doesn't take long to charge, but make sure you have USB A port as it's a USB A to USB C cable. It says 6 and older, but I'll be honest, even my husband and I enjoyed playing with this giant crusher! So much fun to take it off road or around the neighborhood. I love the details on this vehicle from all terrain tires, oversized shocks, bright lights, and the little driver in the giant truck! The blue color is fantastic and bright! This truck also comes with stickers for the kids to decorate and personalize. You can control it up to 100 feet away, it's so fun to see all the tricks the kids can do (or my husband, hah). The remote control is 2.4 ghz wireless and super easy to use. This is an incredible gift for the holidays or birthday (child or adult in my case, haha). I highly recommend it!! We faced no issues with this truck no matter how crazy the boys would have it drive around outside. The large wheels help it climb curbs easily, and it does really well on grass. I wish the battery life was a bit longer for more game time and more speed but not deal breaker.

I don’t know who enjoys it more, my kid or me! Fully charged, the run-time is about 20 minutes if used nonstop. Because this RC truck sits up high and the tires are big and fairly light, if it does happen to run into you, it thankfully doesn’t hurt. It’s goes fairly fast, especially as far as kids are concerned, and it has lights in the front that light up. We’ve had so much playing with this. It would make the perfect gift for kids (or even adults)! We are going to enjoy “driving” this RC monster truck around for many years!

Very strong and fun for my boys. They really enjoying it. It’s very safe for my 9 year old to play with his 3 year old brother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! This is such a giant monster that I have ever seen. The box came in careful packaging including remote control, big car and usb charge. The color and design of truck are eye-catching and modern. The remote control needs 3 alkaline battery and the car needs to be plugged for charging about 2 hours. There is a clear instruction flyer inside the box. When everything are ready, all I need to do is turn on the car and let’s go. The crusher is strong engine and high speed. It can run well on grass, rocks. All the functions are on the remote control as forward, backward, left or right. It does not have brake button so better stay away from small kids when it is on run for not injury.

It is great that it has rechargeable batteries for the truck so you just have to plug it in. The only thing that would've made this better is longer lasting battery. Because you get roughly 20 to 30 mins of play per charge. Control is pretty easy to use. The headlights actually work and lights up. It's great on all different terrains, sidewalk, grass, going over rocks and pepples and even leaves. Both adults and kids love this truck.

Very huge it’s durable has functioning lights and it’s pretty fast when fully charged. It’s takes a hour or two for a full charge it and runs all day. Not for inside smalls spaces.

It is not the most powerful remote control vehicle, but it is a lot of fun. It definitely goes up and down hills and over obstacles easily. The controller is super easy to use for all ages. It is a very simple one so I think it’s a little more fun for younger children. It goes a decent speed and the big tires are a huge part of the appeal for children. It charges easily and he was able to play with it for quite a while.

We played with it for hours over a few weeks, and I can honestly say it works great. Covers tough terrain like mud, leaves, rocks, and hills with ease. It moves fast, but handles really well. The bright orange color is fun, and it’s made solidly. The huge size is also fun for kids but warning—it really is huge. The box is almost 3 ft long, and took up my entire car’s trunk. The battery is…ok. That’s really my only issue is the kids have so much fun that only getting 15-45 min of charge depending on speeds/lights/etc feels like not enough.
