Cars Lightning McQueen Offroad RC 1:14 Scale Remote Control Car 2.4 Ghz: Disney Licensed Indoor Plastic Toy

It was a hit with my 5 year old and was super easy for him to figure out how to use. However, it is too large to operate indoors, but struggles in fresh cut grass and hard packed dirt. It does well on sidewalk. We had to push the boost button the whole time to get good speed. Car body is flimsy, cheap plastic, but my son is gentle with his toys, so probably not an issue for us. It is rear-wheel driven, but only one wheel turns after first use. It also kept losing connection and needed to be reset every minute or so, even though my son was chasing after it and was always within 3 feet of it as he drove it.

The shell of the car is paper thin. If it’s for an active boy, it will break super quick

Had for one day. Will no longer work. Changed batteries in controller and charged the car. Waste of money... Wish I wasn't an hour away from target or I would return it.

Stopped working after 3 days

I didn't like the fact that it took all day to have my package 📦😞 Highly upset

They have another lightning mcqueen car for half the price that is smaller than is MUCH better than this car. this car is junk- much better options out there

BUYER BEWARE!!! Broken after 3-4 uses and the company and Target both refusing refund since over 30 days. What kind of company only has 30 day warranty for a $50 electronic? A company who is making JUNK!!! Don’t end up with a disappointed child like I did. And shame on Target for not doing right thing.

super flimsy plastic material, broke after a few weeks had to throw away

Battery only lasts about 10 mins

I purchased a remote control car for my son for Valentine’s Day. It’s from one of his favorite movies, Cars. While he absolutely loves the car, the battery dies in under 15 minutes, even after being charged overnight. He even asked me if there was anything I could do to make it last longer. Now I’m torn between returning it or keeping a moderately expensive toy that doesn’t hold a charge for very long.

Product is now on sale Please honor sale price and send me a refund

Goods: The car actually goes pretty fast and controls well for the size and price of it. It's also easy to take apart if you needed to. Bads: Like others, I had issues with the electronics of it. The front wheels were no longer turning, but I could move forward. I assumed the turning servos were shot. I took it apart and it looks like the driver chip for the servos shorted. The copper pad completely came off the solder mask, so the entire board needs to be replaced. Not sure if the components are improperly sized, if there was a bad solder point. We've not put that many hours into this car... It shouldn't be dead this early. Especially with the price tag.

amazing

The truck runs well, but the Lightning McQueen figure itself is made of very light and flimsy plastic, like a 1mm plastic. It bends and breaks super easily, it broke about 2 weeks after we got it.

Battery lasts 30 minutes to an hour, but it has a lot of power. It can get through well maintained grass/dirt. It goes very fast on sidewalks and smooth pavement. Has good traction but it does only move by the back wheels. The front wheels turn to move the car in different directions. Not sure how long it takes to fully charge, but I just leave it to charge over night so it's ready for him the next time I take him outside to play with it. Overall, it's worth the price. It's a cool toy and surprisingly durable despite how flimsy it is. I'm assuming it's flimsy to keep the car lightweight and moving when being used. I highly recommend for what you pay, especially with it being a Disney Cars Lightening McQueen toy.

First of all - my son loved this and was enjoying learning how to drive it. Excellent choice to entertain and tire out a toddler! He played with it for two weeks when I walked past it one morning (sitting on the ground, not charging) and I smelled burning. Turns out smoke was coming out of the hole where the wire connects to the battery. Luckily we caught it and put it outside. Returned it to target but got merchandise credit since it is a “non returnable” item. Not worth it. But from a more reputable RC brand. 0/10. We are lucky our house didn’t burn down.

battery dosent last long and struggle off pavement

My grandson loved it. Extremely easy for him to operate.

battery doesn't last and doesn't go fast at all. not recommended for grass. if my son wasn't a huge Lightning McQueen fan I would return it.

Kids love it rechargeable great purchase
