This car does not hold its charge. My 2 year old got this as a birthday present and it barely lasts 10min. When we put it on the charger he cries for it. He doesn’t understand and it’s heartbreaking. It’s also flimsy. One star because it has the ability to go over rocky areas but can’t go in grass.

my son has been asking for this toy for months. We finally got it for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. Me on the other hand I think Its a bit pricey, plastic is flimsy and doesn't hold a charge for very long. But he doesn't seem to mind 😂.

I have 3 boys ages 22-8 I have purchased MANY remote control everything's and I always dread the downfall of them because it never takes long.. THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT!! He has a charging cord attached to him so it's not using batteries like water and that's FANTASTIC.. It also lasts long enough (20-30 minutes) for my son to be ok with letting it charge again because patience is not a skill he yet possesses.. and it's durable enough to slam into walls and doors and for the dogs chase him.. I only do reviews when I'm really impressed with how something has been and after 2 1/2 weeks of being played with everyday not all day of course but he's played everyday and this thing hasn't missed a beat!!

This is the worst remote control car it barely holds a charge (2 mins if that). You can't even put in actual batteries because it's charge only. I wish I wouldn't have bought it in October for Christmas because now I'm stuck with a $50 piece of junk (since return window passed). Save your money and buy something else because this is not it!

Bought for 6 yr old grandson for his birthday. We set up a small ramp (10" high). It couldn't make the climb. Then we tried it in low cut grass. It never gained any speed and then disconnected after 15'. We were frustrated, but it was so bad that after 10 minutes even my 6yr old grandson was happy to let me return it for something better. I thought maybe it was defective but after reading these reviews I think it lacks the power needed. The only place it worked was on hard flat surfaces.

It looks nice and is really fast however the plastic casing is very flimsy and if you want it to go anywhere that isn’t flat it’s not happening. The car can’t drive over anything which frustrates my child who wants it to do “jumps.” Couch cushions and board books are Lightning McQueen s nemesis.

I ordered this online and I cannot believe how flimsy the plastic is on top. I'm not returning it because my son loves monster trucks and Lightning McQueen so I still think it will make him happy on Christmas morning, but I'm extremely disappointed. I don't expect it to hold up after a few uses honestly and i cannot believe it was $50. The quality is worth about $15.
