[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Monster Jam 1:15 Smash and Bash Grave Digger RC and my son wasted no time opening it. Its a good size, big enough that is feels exciting but still portable for him to bring to his grandparents. The controls seems easy for him to figure out, and he loves making it spin, and crash as it self fixes after. It does take 2 AAA batteries for the controller. Its pretty durable when he crashes it into walls and kept him occupied for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my kids (2 year old girl and 6 year old boy) are obsessed with this! Its durable enough to play indoors and outdoors. The battery life is also super long! We took this up and down hills at our local conservation area and it did so well! It smashes in to walls at home, leaves no marks, and the kids love pressing the button to fix the truck. Absolutely recommend!

I dont know if Dad or the kids were more excited. Immediately it was taken out of the box and enjoyed. Not only does it look like the famous truck, its also just as tough. At first, we didnt realize the added feature when you crash the Monster Truck smashes so dad was so worried he broke it. After figuring it out with the help of our 3-year-old (there is a button that puts it back together) play continues. We also very much LOVE and our budgets appreciate that though you do need batteries for the control, the truck itself if plug-in rechargeable. This is a much-appreciated feature. Its fun, looks great, built well, and made to last. Our kids really love smashing and crashing things so its right up their alley. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, but its not destructible indoors to the smashing of walls, cupboards, moms ankles - its built well but doesnt do much damage. Its super tough and has held up so well with all his adventures. Watching him play with it outdoors and have so much fun makes it a win in our books! Totally recommend!

On the packaging there was no mention of batteries only USB so I thought great. But once I opened it all up I noticed the remote needed 2 AAA batteries. Good thing I had some on hand. My other issue was getting the cord in ti charge the truck itself. It's a very small spot with parts almost blocking it. Maybe kids with smaller fingers will find it easier than adults. Other than that it was hit. The grandsons had no issues figuring it out and played for at least 2 hours and it still had not lost its charge. So thanks again or choosing us to be part of your product testing we had a blast

It turned easily and went backwards and forwards. He liked that he could drive it into the wall or cupboard at full speed and it would crumple up. Then with just a push of the repair button on the controller, it stretches back out to its original length. Its ready to smash n bash again. My son had a great time smashing it and driving it around. It charged quickly and easily using just a USB port. The only issue I had was the plug that went into the truck was awkward to insert because the back bumper lines up with the port hole and makes the plug difficult to push in to charge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 year old is obsessed with Monster Trucks, so naturally he was ecstatic to see this giant new toy "just for him" To my surprise, it was just as exciting for my 5 and 9 year old girls and fun for the whole family! My 2 year old had a little trouble with the remote but happily chased the truck around and loved watching it wreck and then pop back out. My girls had a blast ramming and smashing it into things and then simply pushing a button and watching as it "fixed" itself. It was enjoyed by all 3 kids for quite a while and nice to have them all playing something together. My biggest concern with it is for my walls I'm not 100% sure I love the idea of encouraging them to smash it into everything and considering making it an outside toy but we will see how it goes as we use it more!

It looks just like the real Grave Digger monster truck, and my kids (ages 9 and 11) have had a blast building ramps and creating obstacle courses for it indoors. The crash mode feature is a standout as it adds an extra layer of fun to uncrash it by the push of a button. And dont get me started on how hilarious it is when the truck tips over and still manages to spin around and keep going just like a real monster truck. The remote control is straightforward and easy to use, and overall, the toy delivers a lot of excitement. It doesnt perform very well on grass, so we mostly keep it on hard surfaces inside. One small downside is that the steering buttons on the remote control require a bit of force to move, which might be tricky for younger children or kids with smaller hands. You can go forward and in reverse mode and the truck is such a good size, bigger than your average truck. The best part is you can switch it to smash mode and it crumples on impact. Thats always the funnest part. Even as an adult I enjoyed helping my kid play with this truck. We have used it both indoors and outdoors without any problems. I would definitely recommend this remote control vehicle to other parents. It is sturdy and fun to play with!

Admittedly I was skeptical at first because when you touch Grave Digger's side they feel soft and a bit flimsy. The thing I was not thinking about was that the RC was designed like that so that when you run into an obstacle the front of Grave Digger crumples and crunches in...hence the 'Bash' in the name! The kids had so much fun running the RC into things and then 'de-crumpling' the toy. As far as function, the RC works and responds well, but the controls need a bit of getting used to, so it might be better for a slightly older child, in terms of steering. We definitely needed to use the function to adjust for the RC's tendency to steer to the left, but the function is there! Ultimately, Grave Digger RC is super fun and the kids love it. I would recommend it for anyone who has kids who love playing with RC's or Monster Trucks. I received this product for free in order to give my honest opinion.

We built a ramp and hill to add extra fun and it became like the real event. The truck comes with a remote that requires two batteries. Its very easy to use and simple to get activated. Not only does it look like the famous truck, its also just as tough, as my five-year-old found out. He repeatedly sped it around our backyard before sending it grill first into fencing, planter boxes, even a shed. Of course this had an impact on the truck; each big bang caused the toy to crunch up just like its designed to do. Its also designed to smoothly un-crunch; just push a special button on the remote and the truck is as good as new and ready to be crashed into another object. (If youre worried about your walls, note that this toy can be used indoors or outdoors.) My son really enjoyed how the truck would break and then quickly be fixed. And I enjoyed that it changes via USB-C, and comes with a charging cord. This is the same type of port newer iPhones use, so keeping the truck charged up was super-easy. My only complaint is that the remote uses a triple-A battery; I wish it also charged via USB-C. But overall this is a fun toy that also makes for an impressive gift. Keep this item in mind for the upcoming holiday season!

We put in the batteries and truck was driving in no time. Truck drives great even on grass. It's very fast. We've had no problems with the monster truck. Not only is the Grave Digger super durable and sturdy (and let's admit it, super cool to look at!), but when you crash this monster truck, he folds in! It makes for a super realistic experience for kiddos. To begin, all you have to do is put two AAA batteries into your controller and youre ready to experience your monster jam dreams!
