I bought this for the rain setting. After turning it on and getting in bed, I realized the loop for the rain sound is 8 to 10 seconds. So every 8 to 10 seconds my brain was like, there it is, and after that it's difficult to drift to sleep. I would never purchase this item again.

I love this sleep machine, it really helps me sleep but if you set a timer, after the time is up it'll have this high-pitch screech and you have to unplug and re-plug in the USB to use the machine again. I bought 2 and both have the same problem

I got it because I need white noise to sleep. There were a bunch of setting. I think it was rain, ocean, stream, one with music, and white noise. I like even white noise and the white noise feature was uneven. (I hope I'm explaining that right.) It had an inconsistant sound and I couldn't fall asleep.

I keep it outside of my door to maintain a level of privacy. When the machine is on the white noise setting, my co-workers can't hear my private conversations and vice-versa.

SO quiet. We’ve had multiple sound machines but needed something battery powered for camping. These are quieter than the volume on my phone. Seriously not loud enough. The battery aspect is nice and it does switch automatically from the cord to the battery backup which was important for us for power outages and things. But seriously disappointing.
