I love this brand so much. They have great ethics, use clean ingredients, and it smells so good. I have found the packaging to be fine, no leaks, but can be difficult to get all product out. Fair price for the quality. I bit heavy for my hair texture unfortunately, but I will use it as a weekly deep conditioning treatment!

This product is amazing! It leaves your hair feeling nice and soft and the smell is very pleasant. It doesn’t leave your hair dry what so ever ! If you have long thick hair , this is definitely for you !

Didn’t do much for my 4A hair, felt striping and drying paired with shampoo and conditioner. I wanted to like it so much, but at least the smell is nice!

I swim in salty water almost everyday and I don’t use shampoo everyday but I usually rinse and use conditioner, but after I use this leave in conditioner… I’ve gone through 2 containers of this stuff and let me tell you my hair is full and healthy. I used to pull out clumps of my hair before using this. It was dry and dull before using this. Also 1 tub lasted me about a year so it’s not like I’m restocking every month. I love it so much I gift all my girl friends it.

I have used the JBOC leave in for literally almost a decade now and all of a sudden it’s making my hair frizzy? At first I noticed that the formula was white and it smelled more like perfume instead of play dough like it normally does. I was skeptical but I went ahead and used it anyway. I have NEVER experienced this with this leave in. I am sooooo disappointed that my favorite product has been changed with literally no consideration for the people using it. CHANGE IT BACK!

I put this leave-in after using the Jamaican oil shampoo and it dried my hair badly, destroyed my curls. After 20 minutes of applying it my hair was like a bird nest!! So dry and tangled that I had to cut it off ,very upsetting when its length was down my waist. I have fine very frizzy 3c curls hair and I had high hopes for this brand to work.

By looking at the list of ingredients of this conditioner, on this website, I was so excited to try this conditioner. So I went and bought a jar, the problem is the ingredients differ on the jar I bought. They differ in ingredients listed and in the order they appear on my jar. The major difference is, the the jar I bought has "fragrance (parfum)" as an ingredient but I don't see that listed here. Thankfully, I did not open it and hopefully they will reimburse me. I didn't expect to have such an ingredient in a so called "clean product". Please be FAIR in listing the ingredients here. Therefore, I rate this product ZERO since I will not get to test it unless I find a jar like the one pictured here on this site with no "fragrance (parfum)" in it.

I've been using this leave-in for year and it's in rotation with another leave-in. This leaves my 3bc curls soft. I use it right after washing and conditioning, and before applying my hair gel. One of the few products left from SM that they haven't negatively tampered with. Highly recommended!! Especially, if you need a little boost of protein in between your protein treatments or their Bond Repair masque.
Shea butter is strengthening conditioner that detangles and restores moisture weighing hair down it is perfect for all hair types help reduce breakage this is an amazing product

I didn’t really see a difference with this product, but maybe you just have to be consistent. It smells okay. The packaging is convenient because I got every bit of the product. However, it made my hair feel soft.

I love this product but recently started having a pretty bad reaction to hair products with gluten. I have been gluten free for 15 years but missed it in this product. Parts of my allergy reaction includes hair loss and breakage as well as other things that heavily impact my daily life.

I like this for my kids! Cuz is to greasy or slippery. The scent is super soft and not chemical at all. It help detangaling very effective. We have this bottle for ever so is very aforable.

Amazing conditioner. I was worried it was going to smell strongly of apple cider vinegar and peppermint but it smells like Shea butter and a bit like playdough to me. Thick and creamy consistency. Once I put it on my hair I was so surprised at the fact that I was able to so easily detangle my hair. My hair was so much more manageable with this conditioner allowing me to run my comb through my hair with no problems, no large amounts of hair coming out. My hair was left so soft and feeling moisturized and healthy.
