Comfortable and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only sleeping bag made of artificial material that I've ever found comfortable. It's not too slippery or noisy, and it's very warm. It immediately fluffs up really well. And it's shockingly lightweight for its loft. 100% recommend.
Excellent balance of warm and lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a mild winter backpacking trip. For 3 seasons I have preferred a quilt and layers of clothing but I needed something warmer for winter and early spring/late fall. I am a back sleeper who struggles in the confines of a traditional mummy, yet I carry extra sleeping bags, food, and occasionally water for my dogs so I don't have weight to spare. This bag was wide enough that I didn't feel trapped while very lightweight and warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Zipper came off 1st zip...yikes. but got it back on. Slept great in 30 degree weather overnight ...in prep for steelhead fishing in Erie Pa. Roomy enough for a side sleeper, that's me :)! Warm and snuggled especially important for a raynauds sufferer. 1st trial in the bag was great! Next adventure...Appalachian trail!

I bought the Flame 3 sleeping bag, comfort temperature -4°C for backpacking in the summer: I spent a month in the Swiss and Slovenian Alps (June/July) and a month in Iceland (August). Every single night that was below 10°C I froze in this sleeping bag. I had to use the silk sleeping bag, wear Merino underwear and usually also the down jacket so that I could sleep. This was truly the worst purchase of my life. I have a Marmot sleeping bag with a comfort temperature of -4°C in which I have never felt cold, even at sub-zero temperatures. These sleeping bags are two different worlds. I would not recommend this Flame 3 sleeping bag!

Incredibly light and warm. I bought the 25°F / -4°C version and use it with a fleece liner both as an extra layer of warmth and to keep the inside clean. Since I tend to sleep cold, I will still wear warm layered clothes inside the bag when the temperature goes below freezing.
15 degree bag super warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this bag to be super warm in the mountains, though it was not 15 degrees out. Worried about running cold, I actually ran hot the first few nights in this bag when the temps were higher, and wished I had gotten the lighter bag- I was sweating and the fabric was not doing me any favors. Then when it got cooler, I was very cozy in this bag (with no liner); I didn't even need long johns. Was happy then that I got the 15 degree, though I don't have a comparison with the lighter bag. Maybe it also would have been fine. In short, I recommend this bag and was not at all worried about being cold. Its super lightweight and very easy to pack up.I was able to use the zipper with some care, it was fine. As I am small (5.1 and 90 lbs) I had lots of room to move around and was not cramped in the least. I didn't have to deal with moisture issues on this trip, so cannot speak to that. Hope it will last me a very long time. If you are in need of a lightweight quality bag that will keep you warm in cold temps, this is the one.

Bought this 35 degree bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 35 degree bag to replace a very old 40 degree unisex bag that wasn’t ever very warm. Used the Flame for 2 nights when temp went to ~43 degrees and slept warm with the zipper open and my head bare most of both nights—so, this bag is warm. It fits 5’ me perfectly with plenty of room to sleep on either side or on my back + I love the extra fill in the foot box. I was also worried about the 10D shell and 7D liner with my 37# energetic dog sharing the tent—so far, no problems. I would prefer a full-length zipper so that it would have more versatility for use on warmer backpacks or thru hikes. I sleep cold but also have occasional hot flashes so the short zipper was almost a deal breaker. I will have to purchase a light-weight quilt for warmer hikes. I tried, but did not have the hand strength to compress the bag entirely into the tiny compression sack provided. I used a larger waterproof sack and compressed it further by stuffing other things into my pack on top of it. I also thought the storage sack was too small and bought a large cotton storage sack to use instead.
Comfy and nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 15° bag. Used it two times in my backyard to double check temps before going to Grand Canyon (cold on the rim!) It is comfy and warm. I found it went to 30° comfortably for me. I added the down liner for colder temps, which worked down to 15° or so, with just a few cold toes (on a mat with 7+ r value), could go lower and maybe be a bit chilly. I am 5'7" /130 and decided on the long. I tried both, was really on the fence. I think I should have stuck with the regular, BUT I will say I can bring my knees all the way up in the long and that is surprising and pretty cool! It is lightweight and packs small. It's bigger than a water bottle tbh but not huge still, esp for a bag this warm. I would have liked the baffle to be bigger around my shoulders but it works well enough. Zipper works great, no issues. The cinch for the hood is fine, little fussy to undo, esp if just loosening one side, but still not a big deal. Def recommend if you have the money. For the size and weight, it's a good product if you have the money.
So packable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is so light and packs down so so so small! I have used it sailing and sleeping in rustic cabins so far. It is comfortable and cozy for summer camping or adventuring in places with a heater. I've even used it as a liner with another bag on top on cold nights and it worked very well. I can't wait to use it on the main salmon next summer!
It’s very warm and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s very warm and comfortable. It didn’t pack down as small as I hoped. The compression sack was just enough to stuff it in, not easy to compress much more. It’s my first down sleeping bag but there is a smell that won’t do away. I’m not sure if all down bags smell like that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 5'8", I was pretty close to the maximum length in the Long bag, with just a little room at the toe/head. It packs down SO small but is as warm as it says it is! Was down to freezing and stayed warm (on an Ether XT Extreme mat).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super impressed! I co-lead a collegiate adventure leadership program, Bridge Adventure. We outfitted our group with the Flame Ultralight (both mens/womens) and Ether Light XT Air sleeping pads. Through an overnight trial run in Palo Dura and 3-night trek to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, they were phenomenal. Given the light weight and incredibly small packed size, I was skeptical of the temp rating. However, the rating was spot on. Thanks Sea to Summit for helping outfit our group!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this sleeping bag. It's beyond comfortable. I'm had some of my most comfortable nights of sleep (not just camping, but in general) in this bag. I have the 25 degree version and it definitely hasn't disappointed when it comes to keeping me warm in cold temperatures. The ultralight spec is also very appreciated -- this bag comes in handy when backpacking because it's super light -- a lot lighter than the ultra quilts that many recommend. Personally, I move a lot in my sleep so I prefer the mummy option to the quilt. 5/5 stars, highly recommend.
