This necklace is very shiny silver, very sturdy & well made. No turning, no green left on my skin. I live around Nashville, so I chose this Bolo style, it's very "country chic" & girly & the surface of the medallion almost glitters. Very cute & a good statement piece, yet simple & somewhat dainty.
