Shock Doctor Ultra Pro Supporter with Ultra Carbon Flex Cup

My husband recently bought the Ultra Pro Supporter in XL and I can say assuredly that I'm a new fan. He's an athletic guy and is always looking for new tools to up his game. I'm happy when he's comfortable in his gear and he is so satisfied with Shock Doctors line of products that I'm thinking of purchasing something for his birthday next month! Looks sexy, feels durable! Great job, definitely wifey approved!

Wanted to give about a month before reviewing the XL Pro Jockstrap and Large Ultra Carbon Flex Cup. I have worn the XL Core Jockstrap and Bio-Flex Cup for pickup basketball and even ordered the XL Bio-Flex Cup separately, but it was overkill and went back to wearing the “large” it came with. After wearing the Pro for basketball and washing (in laundry-net on cold cycle then let air dry) for at least 20 times (games) I found this to be the best Jockstrap and Cup ever worn. Wish I had in my earlier years for football and martial arts. This jockstrap is the coolest color design ever! The waistband never shifts, and I like the width. The leg bands are not as wide as the core’s and also has not rolled during mid-game. Material is holding up and has felt comfortable since first wear. I feel supported but never restricted and no sweat buildup. The “large” Ultra Carbon Flex Cup it comes with is amazing. I am confident it will protect me and fits in the XL Jockstrap pouch perfectly! The carbon cup moves with me better while holding all of my junk securely. I would still use my XL Core Jockstrap for back up but totally prefer the Pro… Less is more in a way, just don't get pantsed LOL! Leaves little to the imagination with your butt hanging out!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compression shorts are comfortable and everything fits will. The material is breathable and feels good while running. It also does its job in terms of protections. Very nice!

I've had the compression shorts and the pants and they always limit movement. This supporter fits tight and is totally unnoticeable while wearing, full movement and doesn't pinch or feel restricting - until it protects me from a hit that would have ended my day!

When It’s hot out or when I’m not looking for compression I like to wear a traditional jockstrap. These straps have great quality. I wear the XL cup. These supporters fit great and hold the cup in place but there is not enough fabric in the pouch area to allow full use of the XL cup. I applaud Shock Doctor for making the XL cup line. I wish they had supporters and comprehension gear to accommodate the larger cup size. I rated this a 5 star because for what it is it’s a great product and for most guys it’s a must have. A few tweaks for the XL line would make it even better.

Very comfortable. This is the “heavy duty” version of the regular jock and will last much longer for guys who wear it more than a couple times a week.

This is for my 8 year old son. He says it's super comfortable and doesn't pinch his goods like the other one we had. Easy on and off, easy to clean, he has taken a couple of rough falls on the tackling pads and says nothing got hurt, so I guess it has done it's job.

Good quality. Fits great. Stays put where it’s supposed to be.

The pouch is definitely smaller than I expected. Overall quality is very good, just needs more room for the boys.

I've always been involved in sports and have tried probably everything. Nothing beats the protection and gives the confidence to play your best more than this! I wish that compression style shorts would come close but I have never found a pair where the cup doesn't slide. You can run, squat, kick, slide and it will stay in place. Some complain that these run small but I think they are supposed to, the last thing you want is a cup sliding around when your running or get hit! This model is also less noticeable on the outside. It can get uncomfortable if wearing for a long time like a day tournament but I really haven't found anything that doesn't.
