I still find some hair trying to escape to the drain

This little protector catches a lot of hair before it goes down the drain. It also catches soap scum in the tiny holes. I clean it out after each shower but it does cause the water to back up a bit while you're showering since the holes are tiny and the water can't drain fast enough. But I'm glad I got it for keeping all of my hair from plugging up the pipes.

Works great, the dome simply covers the drain. Since it's silicone, it fits tightly enough to stop hair from traveling into the drain. Great for bathtubs where the stopper sticks out.

I don't understand why so many people have not recommended this? I have a pop-up drain and I bought this and it works like a charm! It does not move around, not once did it move! Yes a bit of water pooled around the bottom But by the time I turned off the water and grabbed for my towel and turned around all the water was drained out and all the hair was around the base of the drain protector. I simply took a tissue and wiped the hair clean off! nothing stuck nothing in the holes, a clean sweep! I think you should take my word and purchase this for a pop-up drain, for a flat drain they make flat drain protectors specifically for that kind of drain so maybe the commenters are using the wrong kind of drain protector on their particular drain. I'm adding pictures to prove to you how great it is and to tell you the truth I never leave a review because I just don't want to take the time but when I first read the reviews I decided to purchase anyways and the negative reviews,in my opinion, were way off and wrong. I highly recommend this drain protector for 'pop-up drains'!!

Honestly I don’t think this one is as good as the flat shower drain protector. The silicone makes this slide around too much. More hair is dipping under going down the drain which is missing the entire point of the product.

This drain protector did not work at all. It never stayed in place and kept falling off the drain. There are much better options out there that will not move.

I love how it is design to catch everything in the bathtub so nothing gose down the drain. It fits in my bathtub perfect and easy to clean. Good quality.

Does not perform as expected.

This product is a waste of money. It prevents hair from going in the drain but also slows the water drainage too. Water backs up in the tub.

Covers the drain nicely and definitely traps the hair. Unfortunately, it slows the water down way too much.

I love this product because of the weighted center metal disc. It stays in place and is easy to put right back in place.

easy to use but impossible to clean the tiny holes, the holes get moldy. I had fo submerge the whole thingy in cleaning solution to clean out the mold.

This was easy to use but it blocked so much of the water from draining that it was like having a blocked drain.

It worked surprisingly well for going over a drain rather than sitting in a drain.

This is great to have if you don't have a drain stop. It keeps all hair and things from going down the drain and potentially clogging it. It's a great value!

Totally useless. Blocks the water from draining and doesn't even catch hair. Returned.

This doesn’t allow my bath or shower to actually drain, also moves easily.

I have a step-down shower stall with a drain that lifts up from the ground to let the water go down and can’t be removed. It can only be collapsed to close and stop water from draining completely. This unit was the only hair catcher I could find that was a perfect fit resting on top of the plug, to keep the drain from getting clogged in the future, as you can imagine what an ordeal it is when hair gets stuck in a drain that can’t be released!

If you like it to slide every where abs do everything but it's job. Then yes purchase.
