Ledicia Costas es una escritora que ha publicado obras de poesía, infantiles, juveniles y para adultos. A lo largo de su carrera ha recibido multitud de premios entre los que destacan las tres ocasiones del Premio Lazarillo o el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil en el año 2015. "Siete dientes de león" es su debut en la colección de Nórdica Infantil.
