SIMI Alexander Valley Landslide Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon features fruit-forward flavors accompanied by hints of spice and toasty oak notes. Made from a blend of the finest grapes harvested at their pinnacle expression, this cabernet wine's delicious profile is born in SIMI's Landslide Vineyard – named for its varied soils that were created by a prehistoric landslide – in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley. The warm climate, rolling hills, and gravelly soils of Alexander Valley make it the ideal growing region for this red grape wine, where morning fog and hot summers allow for long growing seasons. Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, this SIMI wine is structured and elegant with ripe fruit flavors and balanced acidity. Firm, ripe tannins and a full-bodied, velvety finish make this California wine perfect for a dinner party; pair it with grilled meats, complex vegetable dishes, and pasta, or enjoy a glass of wine on its own. There’s something about the SIMI Landslide Cabernet that just knows how to turn a Tuesday into a “we’re celebrating something” kind of night. This is one of my favorite red wines. Smooth, complex and so easy to drink. I take this wine as hostess gifts and people love it! I pop this open, let it breathe and open up for about 30 min, not too big of a wine that it overpowers a meal. Grab a good steak or enjoy a good piece of chocolate - either way, you won’t regret drinking this with either.

Love the taste of this wine. It gives off that taste of berry, plum, and vanilla. It’s very rich and delicious. I love to pair this wine with steak or ribs. So if you’re looking for a good red wine to pair with meat this is it.

I really enjoy this wine. Nice flavor and notes. It’s reasonably priced. A definite go to. I would recommend any Simi wine. It is a great choice and option. It is a go to wine. Also great when hosting guests for an event.

Delicious. Ripe fruit, full-bodied, and a long, smooth finish. Great with pork or lamb but also very drinkable on its own. A big, memorable cab.
