This is NOT a normal USB port. Nothing I have fits in it. not sure what is. charged on this device. bought it for a trip, finally went to use it, only to find out it is basically useless with normal charging cords/USB plugs. money down the drain

After less than a month of use, it made an incredibly concerning crackling noise when plugged it. That sound means that there was improper arcing and could have caused a fire. It was definitely the charger not the outlet as when I changed chargers the sound disappeared
