Im pleasantly surprised how quickly it recharges batteries. Previous items from other brands take so much longer and overheat the battery.

Skil has the best battery and charger technology at any price point, currently. Batteries are compact, long-lasting, and reasonably priced. Skil PWRJump Chargers bring a dead battery to 25% charged in five minutes! The USB ports in the packs and chargers is a thoughtful touch. Great quality!

Very quiet and powerful. Battery life is bad, lasts 12-15 minutes max! Huge battery with low charge life. That was disappointing. Extra battery cost as much as a new unit!!

Well it charged the battery for the first time, but didn't get to use it again because of the tool 12 Volt cutter is not working good. I went back to my old skil cutters until the factory does something with my new 12V cutter unit.

I usually slow charge my batteries but it’s nice to have the power jump option so I can get enough power to finish a job quickly. The USB port on the front is a nice touch as well.

Normally I could care less about chargers, they are fairly quick or slow and either work or don't. This one is different though as it is a standout for 2 reasons. One is the jump charge feature which can take a completely exhausted battery up to 25% charge in only 5 minutes. Great when the job is almost done but not quite. Second is the built-in USB charging port, a great idea which allows you to get more use out of it. As with all that Skil pwrcore series it is excellent.
