A: I wouldn’t trust buying from this product from Target.com. They aren’t listed as an authorized retailer of the SkinCeuticals products & neither is Health and Beauty Direct2U, the Target + Partner that’s listed as where the product is being shipped from. Regardless of batch, this serum always a very distinct smell. That doesn’t mean what’s listed on the Target site won’t work as expected, but does make me question whether it’s truly an authentic product. Or if it is real, how old is it? Is it possible an out of date product is being sold? Some products work perfectly fine long after their stated expiration date. I have no idea if this is one of them.

The CE Ferulic I bought from this random Target distributor is completely counterfeit! I thought it was direct from Target!! When did Target start using random direct sellers?? I’ve been using CE Ferulic every single morning for 5+ years. I typically always get it from the Medical Spa I go to. Well, this time I didn’t and I made a BIG mistake thinking I could save a little bit of $$. The packaging isn’t the same, the dropper isn’t the same and it’s smells horrible! Like house cleaning products in it or something?The texture is lumpy and the color is so dark. I brought it in to my injector at the Medical Spa because I was have a crazy reaction from using it. I was so inflamed, rashy, bumpy all over and my skin was burned!!! She contacted SkinCeuticals and it’s confirmed completely fake!! Whoever is trying to duplicate the most amazing, effective medical skincare brand needs to stop. This is dangerous and also totally ridiculous you’re making money scamming people and causing adverse skin conditions, reactions and harm from whatever the heck is in there. What’s very frustrating with all this for me to save like $30 is that I’ve been getting lasers, peels etc regular to help with my texture, redness, pigment and anti aging. Using this fake CE Ferulic for 1 week completely set me back like a year. This is so beyond frustrating. Thinking I could trust it because, well it’s Target. This is warning for everyone! Don’t do what I did to save $$ it ended up I spent a couple thousand so far to heal my skin. It will be more as time goes on. Go direct to the source!! Medical Spas, Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeons and verified spas that are authorized to carry and sell SkinCeuticals!!!!!!

Thought I was getting a good deal on a great product only to find out that it's a dupe. It is not the actual product. the real one has a very distinct smell and the texture is sticky. This one had no distinct smell and its texture was off as well. Very disappointed that Target would buy from an unauthorized seller of this. I will be returning it today.
