You should use these indoors if you want them to last. I had mine for about 7 years before they started to fail. One leaked all the water and the other broke in the middle after it was knocked down by a flying bball. Use these indoors or don't buy them.

Was great until poles started warping and eventually the base split at the seam and now cracked where the bottom pole is inserted. Have to see if I can make a base out of something else

A coach gave this to me and as a point guard have increased my %'s adding a higher arc to shot.. Also use it close up for bank 15' shots and in foul shooting.

I just recently bought this for my 9 year old son and the poles are already bent. After one of his coaches had one at practice I thought I would invest and now I am not sure it was worth it.

I bought 3 of these a few months ago. Already, the poles on all 3 have bent dramatically when being used outside with very little wind. The metal poles are not capable of withstanding use outdoors.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it is completely broken from falling over (in very light wind) even though we filled the base with wet sand. Each tube is cracked and the entire unit leans over now

I bought my son one for Christmas. He has only used twice because every time the man leans and gets blown over. Currently in my garage getting no use. Feel like a waste of money. My son practices basketball daily. When I ask him why he doesn’t use he said because it always falls over.

I bought this for my 7 year old son who loves basketball and since then he improves his scoring/attacking ability towards hoop. This D man thus simulates a true defender.

I was so excited to get my D-man but to be honest it hasn't lived up to expectations. The pole is very flimsy and the latch that keeps the pole extended does not stay shut through even the slightest contact. The elastic band on the bottom that secures the bottom of d-man to the pole snapped as soon as I tried to put it on the pole. Overall, it could be great but is just so-so due to quality issues
Love It. But need it to stay straight up

D man are a must to simulate game like situations

I love using the d man for training my son and students. They are more realistic than cones and are a must have if you are serious about improving your game. Only problem is they are hard to use when windy. Even if base if full wind will blow them over and even damage pole. The base also leaks which is a problem if you train indoors. I have 5 dman but 1 is out of commission because of these 2 defects. But I still would still recommend getting the dman if you want to improve your game.
