The metal seems thin but it’s actually very strong. My 12 year old son and I put this together and we recommend two people assemble this. One person needs to hold the panels and shelves into place in sequence, while the other gets the screws into place. It holds a lot of items and has a clean aesthetic look. Items stay clean in the cabinet. The see through flip up doors help with functionality and space saving. We have it in the kitchen and wonder how we ever did without it. We purchased this on sale for a little over a hundred dollars. A real deal.
