Skyler Textured Geometric Antimicrobial Comforter Set - Serta

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't crazy about this set initially, but the more I use it, the more I like it. The material is polyester, which honestly looks better online than it does in real life, but it actually washes extremely well. The comforter is light but warm, and hasn't lost integrity even through several washes. I put it right in the dryer at the hottest setting, and it came out dry, looking and feeling like new. The shams are kind of a disappointment. The material is thin and pretty see-through, and it just doesn't hold a pillow well. I haven't really used them at all since. So while the set doesn't look "high-end" in the least, functionally it's excellent: it's a very solid, comfortable comforter set that can withstand abuse and frequent washing. I'm liking it more and more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Serta Skylar Geometric 3-piece comforter set for almost 2 weeks and am extremely pleased with the quality. The set includes one comforter and 2 standard pillow shams. Although the base color of the comforter is light blue there's a charming balance with the navy geometric designs throughout. This is surely a year around comforter because it was not too hot or heavy as we are in the early months of summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great comforter set. It’s a nice light blue background with navy geometric designs. The shams are navy on the back as you can see in my pictures. The comforter is fairly thick and feels well made. It’s not too hot to sleep under, but definitely provides warmth. It did have some loose threads when I initially took it out of the package, but I expect a few. Overall, very happy with this comforter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sheets are great! They are soft and seem to be holding up well in the laundry. They don’t feel too hot which. I don’t use the comforter when sleeping but it feels like a great weight and looks great on the bed during the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter set is a very basic but nice enough set- The comforter fabric is smooth and does not have any added texture or embroidery in the pattern (from the photos you can't quite tell so thought I'd clarify). The material dries quickly when washed and is light and airy for summer, though I much prefer the feel of cotton sheets to polyester, cotton is a bit more 'comfy' feeling to me. The pillows shams have zippers which is nicer than most shams I've had. The fitted sheet however only has the single run of elastic and is a bit tight on our mattress (I think ours may be 12"). The corners tend to pop off a little, which isn't a problem with this set alone, but beware if you have a tall mattress it may not stay in place as well as those with the extra band of elastic. Overall it's a nice enough basic set, I tend to just like the feel of cotton better and need deep picket sheets to fit on our mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this bedding set recently. It seemed like a great option for warm weather bedding. The sheets are a very light fabric. The fitted sheet will work on a deep mattress. Only thing I wish it had were the elastic straps to hold the corners in place. They popped off a few times because the sheet is a bit bigger than a standard mattress. The comforter is perfect for those warmer nights. Thinner and lighter than your average one. Also very large. Perfect for a couple for sure. The shams have zippers instead of the fold over fabric. Nice touch there. Other than the lack of elastic straps, the material is a bit noisy when you move around. Not annoyingly so, but noticeable. All in all this is a great set to transition to for summertime, and it looks nice as well.

What I received is white, light grey, and black. It is a very masculine comforter. It is soft and the comforter is lightweight which I like. The sheets are very soft but they are faded in some spots on the pillowcases. Overall it is an okay set but since it is not what I was expecting I am very disappointed. Had I known it was a different color than what was shown I would not have gotten it.

The blanket is very warm and would highly recommend for the winter months. The sheets feel nice and soft on the skin too! If you don’t own a set, you should. So comfortable.
