This luggage set does not have a pleasant smell. I initially shrugged it off thinking it was just a “new package” scent. However, it wasn’t until I unpacked at my final destination I realized that wasn’t the issue. All my clothing smelled like gasoline. I assume this was caused by the chemicals used for the lining and zipper area. Buyers beware. I washed all my clothing, yet some items still reek of that smell. I put air fresheners in the cases for my next trip and triple bagged my clothing, that seemed to help. Except that shouldn’t be the process for traveling. It’s just a work around for the $100 already spent.

The carry on size lasted me a good year or so before the telescope bent. The checked size didn't last but a few times and just cracked everywhere and weels off. If you plan on packing as much as you can in these, they will not last.

bought this set the day I was leaving to NYC. i needed a bigger luggage. literally broke when i got there. it was cracked by the wheel, which made the wheel bend! but I have to say, customer service was so amazing and helpful. they got me covered with no hoops!

The first time I used this bag, the handle would only lift halfway. Customer service said this happens when something heavy is on the handle. I soon realized that this meant the bag could not be packed fully.

I returned this set after one round-trip flight. The larger piece was checked and barely made it through a round-trip flight via Frontier FL>CO>FL. There were multiple dents in the corners consistent with other images and reviews here. One wheel took significant damage. I'd suggest the Made By Design™ options at similar price points.

I used this luggage ONE time and the red dye on the luggage (the coating on the actual luggage) got all over my hands, and all of my clothes! It was everywhere! I do not recommend this product to anyone! The color I purchased was the pomegranate set. Please beware! The dye did not come out of several of my light articles of clothing! RUINED! I tried to wash the luggage set once I returned home, thinking that perhaps it was some sort of coating. but it didn't work. The color of the luggage still rubs off ALL OVER!! Awful experience!! I'm so incredibly disappointed! Of course it's too late to return my item to target.

The red color comes off on anything it touches! I whipped down the suitcase THREE times within three months and still it leaves red stains everywhere. It ruined my blanket. DO NOT BUY! there are tons of better options out there and the damage this luggage set does to everything around it is not worth it.p This is what the napkin looks like after it’s been whipped down three times. The red color still stains! My blanket now has permanent red marks :(

Great first luggage set. Bought it for my niece as a graduation gift— cute and good size. I feel like it’ll last a good amount of time before she needs to upgrade. Luggage is also a decent weight, enough to be sturdy without cutting too much into the weight restrictions.
